sa ngayon, ang time natin para sa clixmageddon ay 1 pm. Pero gaya ng sinabi ko, mukhang may mangyayari at baka kailangan kong i-urong sa 5 or 6 pm. ayos pa rin ba kayo kung ganon? makakapunta pa rin kayo?
Php300.00 ang fee kasi marami rin ang mga premyo na puwede mapanalunan. Wag ka mag-alala. Sulit yung entrance fee. ;) At so far, ito ang pinakauna at pinakamalaking event natin for this year.
Kung gusto mo magpa-tourney sa may paranaque, kailangan mag-apply ka para maging judge sa NG. Ask NGPhil about it. ;)

The thing is, it's still with me. I hope to visit Glorietta 4 within the week so I can leave it there for you guys.
But actually, madali lang pumunta duon... let me try.... if you're from Edsa, take the flyover to go to Greenhills.
Once in Ortigas, you should just keep going straight and Greenhills should be to your right. Just keep going straight until you see big billboards with stores to your right. (one of them is for a salon type of store and one of the male models has a *ridiculous* hairstyle) That should be near the area of "city square"... go forward a bit more you should see burger king and finally, Madison Square where Gamer's is. Gamer's is at the 2nd floor.
You can't get lost... you travel in a straight line lang naman once you're in ortigas.

Zavier, from Galleria, take Ortigas Ave. heading towards Greenhills. You'll pass La Salle, then Greenhills shopping center on your right. You'll also pass through 4 stoplights. Once you pass the Jollibee store on your right (nasa kanto), stay on the right lane already. The Burger King that Teletran mentioned is closed now. Enter the first "minimall" complex after Jollibee. That's City Center. You'll see Figaro and East West Bank on the first floor. Gamers is on the second floor.

Best places to meet other HC players are in Neutral Grounds, 3rd flr, Glorietta 2 in Makati (saturdays) or Gamer's Shop, 2nd flr, Ortigas City Center near the Greenhills Shopping Center (sundays) or The Prancing Pony, in Riverbancks Mall in Marikina.
If he's looking for singles, he can check out those places or he can search in Virra Mall in Greenhills.
Also he can ask around in Neutral Grounds located at the 4th floor in Robinson's Galleria.

P250 is an ok price actually. Most stores sell their boosters at P270.
As for the most expensive...a lot of people are looking for deals on nightcrawler. :) The sought after uniques go for around P1,000 - P1,500. The low-end uniques are in the P500-P800 range.
Rare's are in the P150-P300 range while Uncommon figs go for P100-P200. Common figs can be had at less than P100 usually.

kaerverk, it'll be a big tourney but he definitely will benefit from the experience.
Most, if not all, HC players here are nice enough to give tips and are very forgiving in games. It's nothing like playing magic where you tap a land then decide not to then your opponent says, "Oh! Mana Burn!".
As for my own personal reason to shift from cards to clix, it's because once (and if ever) Magic or other trading card game loses its fad, it's gonna be a bunch of cards collecting dust in the closet. But with clix, they at least make nice little statues of your favorite heroes. Definitely something the next generation can enjoy playing with as well even without playing it as the game itself.
HC is also expensive though. P270 is the official cost of boosters. P250 ones may be "tampered"/"peeked at" or are "outcasts" like when someone who opens a case got his 8 uniques already and is willing to sell those he hasn't opened knowing there probably isn't a unique there anymore. (but it's really hard to know unless the packs are visibly crumpled or something)

heheh.. well, some of my friend stick to magic type I and get to play all the cards. It's tough for them to go out and look for those betas and unlimited versions of the power 9 though. A friend of mine lacks Timetwister and Mox Ruby na lang. Grabe.. can't imagine what he spent ot get the Lotus and the other moxes... But he sure enjoys so I guess it's worth it naman in his case. :)

Her support click + Regen power + her teen titan ability makes her a healing battery for her team. Kung baga.. yung cleric ng team.
Yup... kinda expensive lang nga for a support fig... but if her barrier and PC are used well she's enough of a nuisance na. Attacking her may result to an incap retaliation pa.
Tapos kung sugat na... phase away and regen..
The only problem is that it's very tempting to push her and that her point cost could very well be a tertiary (for rookie) or secondary attacker (with her other versions)
Guess too much of a good thing can be bad too. Kung may willpower lang sana. Wonder what her range is.

Unfamiliar talaga ako sa mga powers ng DC. Like thare's this one thread that details Hawkman's abilities and origins. Ngayon ko lang nalaman that the Nth metal that makes him fly, also gives him some strength and a healing ability. Tapos Egyptian pala sila ni hawkgirl that discovered a thanagarian ship. They were killed by a villain, then were resurrected in present time. Then they were merged into one being.... DUH? When did this all happen? Sabi pa nila that the Nth metal could do anything, but depends upon the wielder.
And when did aquaman gain Super strength? Sorry about my babbling... Ngayon lang ko kasi rinesearch yung powers ng mga justice leagers. And it's very different from the guys i've read before. They evolved into very powerful characters. Anyway, that's why marvel pa rin me. :grin:
Actually Alstaire, a lot that has been happening with the DCU is very different from how it was 6-10 years ago. Trust me when I say that all the DCU team books are a very good read. They are almost like the X-men of old and are action packed, humorous, and have a lot of plot twists. Do you guys know that the present Superboy came from both Superman's and Lex Luthor's DNA? No story yet about this but it is all being uncovered in Teen Titans and Superman/Batman #7 will feature both Robin and Superboy, not to mention very great art.
In celebration of Valentine's Day I propose a truce for our Marvel Vs DC subjects. Lets celebrate the month of love with something like Eliotblackknight's declarations. Hmmm......

Your right about the stories of DC today. And I loved kingdom come and the new teen titans. I just feel that someone at DC should define the origins and powers for their characters. If like say your a fan of GL, you would want to know what his abilities are and what limits does he have. Anyway, that's my opinion lang.
Maybe, with the comics now, they're already fixing it little by little. With all these rewrites di ba? Ang wierd lang kasi, I tried to find out sa net yung mga origins and it gave me different origins of the same char, so I don't know kung alin dun yung up to date. Baka may suggested site na may up to date origins and powers ng JLA? Sana may gumawa ng Guide for the DC Universe dito sa internet. :cool:

Actually, ako din. Wala nga namang history because I think it depends on the character. Most of the old character's histories has been re-written on their stand alone comic books, like Flash, GL, Wonderwoman and so fourth. The others like Martian Manhunter and Batman hasn't been changed much in the DCU. Wala namang Earth 1 or 2 version ni Bats and Manhunter so they stayed the same. Superman though is a little bit confusing. I lost track of his history ever since his resurrection, tranformation to Red and Blue, and transformation back to the original. The current storyline puts Superman in different timelines so I don't understand it all the more that's why I don't want to read Superman titles. Wala naman silang effect sa current Superman/Batman and JLA storylines so as far as I'm concerned, inconsequential yung mga titles na yun. Suggested reading on the following DC books:
Outsiders
Teen Titans
JLA
JSA
Yan lang enjoy na kung budget constraint ka. Kung may extra pick up:
Superman/Batman
Batman is also very good nowadays, especailly sa Hush and Broken City storylines. I also recommend you get Gotham Knights coming out on April, it will feature villains such as: Hush, Joker, Riddler and Penguin. Robin and Oracle guest stars.
Green Lantern seems interesting since Kyle is headed back to earth and they are changing the artist so the sucky art will be gone. Not to mention that Hal Jordan is coming back so this will give us reasons to pick up this title. Kyle has become the most powerful GL alive since he absorbed the ION power. Dunno much about this history though. I don't like Kyle's storyline since there are some Gay thing storyline going on though if Hal is coming back then this will be a good titile to read.
Well yun lang, I've just started DC last September and I'm telling you its a blast. Hanep ang JSA, try picking it up, especially yung Black Reign Series and issues 46-51, Princes of Darkness where the JSA battles three major villains altogether, Eclipso, Obsidian and Mordu!
Medyo long winded na ito so have to go.

I'll wait for September for the MegaMall bookfair to pick up DC TPBs. Dun ko nabili yung mga ibang JSA TPBs ko. Edmond's right about the GL thing about the gay issue. I bought that TPB only to find out it was about that.. grrr... kung pwede lang sanang mabalik sa store... anyway, the gay issue was what made Kyle exile himself to space in the first place.
Anyway, happy naman ako sa Thor stories ngayon. Maganda and the storyline will really make one rethink about the nature of what being a superhero is all about.
In Ironman, his storyline is about Ironman SoD. (as in Secretary of Defense)

Nahh... Well, not that I read it that well but iirc, it was a friend of Kyle's who was gay... and some guys just beat him up for the fun of it (because of being gay). Kyle's gay friend was in critical condition and brought to a hospital.
After Kyle saw this, he just didn't have the heart to play superhero anymore knowing that things like these happen. So he decided to go to Space instead and let John Stewart take his place for the meantime.
HB, I'm selling that TBP. If you want to give that to Goldeeh, be my guest. Pwede na ring swap na lang for a unique that I lack. :grin: ;) :)

Actually bibili na dapat ako ng GL na issue, habang bibabrowse ko nakita ko dalawang lalaki magkasama sa kama, I think nagkiss pa sila or something. I mean, it's okay to have gay issues but to actually portray them in comics is kind of....a.....awkward. don't know what happened but I definitely forgot about buying it. Kyle is in space now but he'll be back, seeing where his story leads I truly would like to see Hal Jordan back to the fold. At least with Jordan it has always been good vs evil thing.

I already thought about that Doom/Crossgen thing. If doom masterminds, the target won't get hit by the blacklash. But, if doom masterminds to a guy with crossgen, then the target gets backlash.
I am so freakin excited by this development. Doom is now officially GOD. Imagine the possibilities. With Alfred and cheap Kabuki figures, Doom will officially have stealth and be virtually unoutwittable. Exploit weakness can't even break him since he can always mastermind. Plus, he can mastermind to crossgen/mystics figs for extra hurting! Throw in a rookie steel, and doom can multiple EE on anyone!!! hehe. As long as the player knows how to play doom, HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE LAST MAN STANDING. I guess Quake and Force Blast is now ESSENTIAL for breaking this deadly formation

good news to all marvel fans!!!!
here's the result of the match between marvel allied forces and despero and his desperados...
-marvel team lead by silver surfer draws first blood against marvin's ec medic:)
-nightwing, cosmic boy, robin hides(stealth).:confused:
-despero evades surfer's attack due to his impervious.:angry:
-surfer badly injured due to nightwing's cheap outwit, take's 3 damge, despero's 4 damage.:cry:
-amazingly surfer escaped from despero, then moonknight, vulture, black panther, came close to block despero/nytwing's LOS
-luckily surfer rolled a 6 to regenerate 4 clicks of life.:)
-after 3 round....moonknight, paramedic koed':cry:
-nytwing loses outwit due to vulture's attack, despero loses it's impervios because of marvin's abusive pushing.:p
-surfer deals 4 clicks of damege to despero reduces despero's life to 3clicks.:)
-finally marvin quits( he realizes that it's imposible to win coz surfer againt rolled 6, heals 4 clicks of life.:p )
conclusion:

about yesterday sa vira mall, muntik ko na nabili c nova na magick yung ilalim, sayang nova for 850php, buti lng napansin wala cya running shot, naging phasing....to all clix members out there ingat lng sa pagbili ng singles, also tampered packs.

In fairness, meron talaga na mga figures na mali ang dial na nakalagay sa base (or mali ang base altogether). The shop might not have noticed (or walang alam sa comics at sa heroclix yung shop owner) and might have thought the figure was worth something since silver ring yung nasa base. di lang siya familiar sa dial siguro nung figure. Wala rin naman siya kasi makukuha kung gawin niya yun diba?

Sometimes ganoon talaga ang starters. You'll know kung tampered ang starter pag hindi match ang laman ng pagbukas mo. Dapat dalawa rares. Check the box if there are any creases or dents sa top, bottom or sides. But just to be sure it ain't tampered, get it from venues that supports Wizkids Tournaments. These places will not risk having their name ruined for just a measly amount of profit.
hindi ako sure sa starters hindi ko alam kung anong adhesive ginagamit sa starter eh. Pero sa XP,CJ, Indy at CM kapag parang nabuksan na yung ilalim. Mapapansin nyo yun kasi parang sira na yung folds. Saka basta mura (250) chances are, tampered na yung mga yun o kaya sure na wala na kayong makukuhang unique.

With the starter set, it's a bit harder to determine if it's been tampered with. If the adhesive you found on the bottom looks real sloppy, chances are that it might have been tampered with. Wizkids uses adhesive on their boosters so it's kind of hard to tell sometimes.
Another way to tell is if the box looks pretty beaten up or looks like it's been handled, poked, prodded innumerable times. These are probably the ones that have been opened or checked repeatedly by people.
The best insurance that you can get against tampered boosters/starters is to buy your stuff in hobby stores. The ones that really sell clix and other gaming merchandise. Stay away from stores that only offer clix as a sideline.

kasi Neutral Grounds is sponsoring our event, in line with our event they're having a magic tournament and mage knight tournament on Feb 27, friday at around 1 onwards. may heroclix demo rin BUT if makabuo ng 8 players then may tournament na daw sabi ni Freddie. they're promoting it kasi so please spread the word naman to people kung sinoman gusto maglaro on Friday para makabuo ng 8. pa-inform please.

Another thing that most tamperers seem to forget is to put back the serial number that is found on each booster. Yes sometimes the thing slips out, but if a store sells stuff with no serial numbers in the boosters, that's another sure sign. The serial number is there sort of for your protection, to help WK trace where the products come from, and so they can find defective batches.

That's correct, you have to have LOS to at least one square of your barrier. Also, ALL the squares should be within your range (so if you have 4 range, all the barrier squares have to be within that 4 range.). In the case of I. Girl, the barrier squares have to be adjacent to her. Another thing that you have to remember is that you don't have to place 4 squares of barriers all the time. The rule says upto 4 squares. That means you can place 1, 2, or 3 squares if that's all you are able to do.

The premiere set doesn't contain random figures. You get spidey, hobgoblin, wolvie, sabretooth, elektra, wasp, wolfsbane, kingpin, and i forgot the last two. :)

HB, kasi as of issue #49 (ata), Odin died... Thor became the Lord of Asgard na and inherited Odin's power.
This version of Thor can deal blows that can dent/destroy Cap's shield anytime he wants to.
He only has one eye (the other in an eyepatch) and one arm because Thor subjugated Earth to his rule. Balder betrayed him and let the "rebels" consisting of Cap, Dr. Strange, Wolverine and the like to break into Thor's place and catch him unaware.
Details can be seen in Thor #73. It may still be in stores so go grab it!
If you can't get a copy, here's the juicy part. Cap, Strange (blind) and Wolvie was allowed entry by Balder. Warbird and Quicksilver went to go free the other prisoners (ata). But Asgard's soldiers came to answer their intrusion. The rebel heroes defeated the guards when Doctor Strange cast a spell that "boomtubed" Vision, Thing and the Hulk into the fray. Argard's warriors were getting beat then suddenly Loki, Head of Security, and wearing Doc Strange's cloak and amulet arrives with the unconscious bodies of Warbird and Quicksilver. Vision goes to free them and as he does, Loki burns Vision, Warbird and Quicksilver to skeletons. Loki then engages Hulk who is able to withstand Loki's attacks.
Wolvie and Strange are led to where Thor is.... in the nursery. Thor and Amora were playing with their son, Magni at that time. Logan then ambushes Thor and gets to slash his arm and slice his eye. Thor then eyeblasts Wolverine and melts him. Then Doc Strange pulls out a magic artifact that was created by the pantheon of Gods (which is made specifically to counter the Odinpower of Thor) and is successful. Thor is perplexed as he cannot draw on his Odin-powered might anymore. Then The Hulk and Thing show up with smiles seeing that Thor is just regular Thor now and lunges at him. The three fall from the castle walls into the far grounds and a battle ensues for hours. (which wasn't shown on panel). We then see Thor, angry and with his arm torn (arm is hidden behind his cape) and shouting that even so, he has defeated Thing and Hulk. Thing and Hulk are dead by Thor's hand and that's without the Odinpower!!!
Then Balder appears and holds his sword against baby Magni. Thor gets angry and says that Balder's life is forfeit. Thor is about to take off the artifact (a necklace thingy that Doc Strange put on him) then Cap arrives and bashes Thor around. Cap shouts things like he used to know Thor before but not anymore and blah blahs... then when Cap seems to deliver the "killing blow", Loki arrives and stakes a sword through Balder. Then kicked him saying that the throne has no need for traitors. With baby Magni safe, Thor then turns his attention to Cap saying that now, with Magni safe, Cap certainly is not. Loki then levitates the necklace off Thor and Thor holds Cap by the neck... then Thor eyeblasts Cap into death and shatters a portion of Cap's shield.
Thor then awakens in the present and Amora asks what is bothering Thor... Thor says he feels a warning from his power saying that a betrayal is imminent. (and you'll see that in #74)

I haven't been reading much comics for a while and only recently went back. I started with the JLA/Avengers Crossover and i have a few questions:
1. What happend to Wally and Kyle in Issue3? How the hell did it become hal and barry all of a sudden?
2. The transition from the 2nd book to the 3rd book was quite vague, anyone mind explaining?
3. (This may be old but i still dont understand) What happend to Gotham? Did it seperate itself from the mainland and become a wasteland?

Bago kaayo mag-alsa tungkol sa announcement ng Wizkids na magsisimula sila mag-"retire" ng mga sets. Isipin niyo muna kung ano magiging epekto nito sa mga laro natin.
Sinabi pa lang nila na magsisimula sila sa mga susunod na MK na expansions. MW and HC won't be affected by this for sometime. Kaya matagal pa bago ma-"retire" ang current figs natin.
Isipin niyo na rin na pagkakataon ito na balikan ng Wizkids ang mga ibang paborito natin na mga tauhan at baguhin (o ayusin). Ex. Captain America, Juggernaut, Penguin? hehe. Also, currently, yung mga lumalabas na figs halos pare-pareho na lang ang powers. Charge, Running Shot na may EE, incap, or stealth, BCF etc. At least this'll give them the chance to come up with new combinations and powers.
And hindi naman ito katulad ng Magic. Sa Magic, pag gumawa ka ng isang tourney deck, madalas yun na ginagamit mo each and every time unless may mga bagong lumabas or naging obsolete na yung cards mo. Sa heroclix naman, with a few exceptions, each and every week, may nagagawang bagong team ang mga tao. Mas nabibigyan pa nga tayo ng mga options sa ganitong paraan.

Pero kung talagang natakot kayo at gusto niyo na tumigil mag-heroclix, padala niyo na lang mga figs niyo sa kin. Ako gagamitin ko pa mga yan.;)

The Avengers/Brotherhood/JLA/Top Cow Team Abilitiesdo not give the figure a free action. It states that whenever you give that figure a move action, it doesn't count against the number of actions that you have for that turn. Simply put, in a 300 pt game you have 3 actions. If you give Wasp a move action, you still have 3 actions left. Wasp cannot perform any more actions after that because you have already given her a move action.
Hope that clears it up. :)

HB, ngayon lang ako uli naka-online. Grabe, daming posts agad! Wish I could spend some time pero work is calling.
Well, I have 15 minutes until the next meeting. Sige, let me try to tell more Thor stories. I'm not accurate with the issue numbers but anyway, at least may konting estimates.
In the issues in the 40ish numbers (pala ata), Odin died and Thor and the others mourned. Within those issues, Thor started to get more and more powerful but didn't want to assume the throne. Naglasing muna and the like... but eventually, he was convinced to do so. By around issue #50, Thor has started to take on his role as Lord of Asgard and decided to bring Asgard to Earth to serve as role models. A few issues after that, the standard villain showed up for Thor to fight... but this time, Thor easily dispatches them given that he's got the Odinpower na. He then fed the poor, healed the sick, freed the slaves, etc. Some issues even focused on human affairs only.
There was this fisherman who is a Christian and, just like any of us, is struggling to make ends meet. But catching lobster (his work) has become hard and he gets less and less catch each day. His son is still studying and the like and he went to borrow cash from the local bank but was denied credit. A thorist came to talk to him but he said that it's inapropriate because his sister was a nun and that they are Christians. Time came that he was so desperate that he was resolved to sacrifice his life by going out to sea at a stormy night and lose himself so his family can claim life insurance just so that they can survive.
On his way to certain death out in the dark cold seas, he was about to meet his end when suddenly, Thor appeared and calmed the storm. Thor then refilled the sea with "life" (dumami uli ang lobsters) and when the waves washed up the fisherman's boat, lobsters were carried by the waves to his boat. Thor then flies away and the fisherman looks up in awe. Back to his home, he has renewed faith in life and then converted to a Thorist.
With the great deeds Thor has been doing, many churches were built in his name. NONE of which Thor demanded. Thor only asks that each person be nice to each other and help each other out as he helps them.
This triggered a lot of angry reactions from world governments. They claim that Thor is usurping power and is being a bully to a nation's laws. Thor then states that what he's doing is only for the good of mankind. One representative in the UN then pointed out that Thor and his people dismantled a medical research complex. Thor then became angry as he said that it was not a medical research complex at all but a plant to build chemical weapons of warfare. The politician was then perspiring and denied such. (syempre!) Then suddenly, Creel (absorbing man) busted through the
UN meeting and as the guards were to react to his intrusion, Creel said that he doesn't want a fight. He said that he has seen what Thor is doing and that it is real good. He then pledged his loyalty to Thor. (wow!)
Next issues showed how the earth is finally reacting to Thor. Some thorists and some anti-thorists eventually came to fights/riots. One of them resulted to burning of property and destruction of Thor's churches. In one of those instances, Thor arrived and quelled the fight. Then he waved his hand and the church suddenly started to rebuild itself automatically. Sif then told Thor that it may not be wise to help people without them giving effort (since nililibre lagi ni Thor) but Thor dismisses her advice.
Suddenly, a woman charges to the front and implores Thor to help her daugther. Apparently, her daughter died of suffocation from the smoke when the church was burned down. Thor then motions to cast resurrection! People, both thorists and anti-thorists looked in awe... as Thor summoned life energies and cast upon the child. At first, he failed. Then he cast again and LO! Her eyes opened! As the crowd was about to cheer, the mother noticed that her daughter was catatonic... like a zombie. It's like as if she were alive but has no soul. (parang vegetable). She asked Thor if this were temporary... but Thor said that this was the first time he tried that and he's not sure.... "NOT SURE?!?" Then the crowd got angry and shouted blasphemy against Thor as he flies away.
Things worsened as a group of "smiths" met and decided to take measures against Thor. Even the government requested Ironman to take Thor down (another story in itself if you guys want). Finally, the smiths used a priest to set a meeting with Thor at a deserted place. The priest and Thor exchanged words and the priest told Thor how much he fears Thor as Thor represents "evil" and is everything his religion (Christianity) opposes. He even brought the child and showed Thor how much more damage Thor made by trying to resurrect the child into a zombie which is hurting the mom much more. Thor does not back down and is stern to stay in earth and continue his works. Then the priest utters "May the Lord forgive me" (something like that), presses a button and the whole island goes kablooey! A nuke was just beneath them. (hypocrite yung priest noh? Nag-suicide na, sinama pa yung child, and attempted murder kay Thor pa! Anong klaseng Christian priest ba yan?)
Anyway, when the Smiths saw that Thor is "dead". They went to blow up Asgard by boomtubing agents into strategic places of Asgard and bombing them. This resulted to some parts of Asgard crashing down on New York and killing many.
Thor is, of course, alive and went to Asgard to try to prevent further damage. Then Jake Olson (his separated alter ego) faced him and tried to stop Thor. Asgard could still be saved but Olson's intervened. He caught Thor's hammer as it hit army tanks then charged at Thor and hits him around. Thor tries to put Olson away but Olson has bought the bombers enough time to finish their work. Thor is angry and eyeblasts Olson to death (skeleton na lang). Thor then goes to pick up Mjolnir and surprisingly, he CAN'T! He gets angrier then everything comes crashing down.
Next issue... we see the future already. Year 2170 if I'm not mistaken and Thor has a build like Odin's na. New York has become New Asgard. Loki is the head of Security. Thor is now the lord of Earth.
Ok. Tinatawag na ng boss. May mga ibang details pa like how Zeus and the other pantheon gods reacted but next time na lang kung gusto nyo. :)

Astaire, yes. Roll pa rin sya for super senses. By the way, Destroyer would make a nice clix fig. Should be even more lethal than Ulik.
Kim, heheh.. like Bace said, matagal pa naman before we see "type 1 and type 2" kind of plays. Sana nga magawa muli yung mga kawawang figs like Cap. I'm not insinuating na bulok si Cap. It's a good fig but just not a great fig relative to Batman. Ironman sana maayos rin. (at bagong Thor!) :)

Napansin ko lang. Labo ng continuity ng Marvel. In the New Xmen, Magneto just recently made New York into New Genosha before getting decapitated by Wolvie. Tapos si Thor pala ginawang New Asgard ang New York? Di ba sila nagkita at naglaban ni Magneto.

HB, continuity in Marvel is really something that changes between writers.
Heck! Even with Dan Jurgens, he hasn't been that consistent with Thor himself. Lord Thor can take shots from nuclear blasts and non-Odin-powered Thor killed Thing and Hulk... but got trashed around by Cap (until his baby was freed)... :( Even if Thor wasn't trying to fight Cap, Cap's attack should not even register a reaction from Thor.
I haven't been reading New X-men. But anyway, as of current continuity, (as of today) what should be is that Asgard is floating over New York at least. If Asgard's already bombed, then New York should be in ruins as of now. The New Asgard and the exploits of Lord Thor with one eye and one hand are all shown to be in the future so that at least is an exception to today's storylines.
But then again, where does Spidey swing around if New York has been destroyed? So therefore, other writers don't care much for what's happening in stories they don't write. :p

It's just the title of the set. It doesn't mean that the whole set will be the ultimate versions of characters. Probably most of the Uniques and the Rares. ;)

As for Spidey, well, they did meet in Thor #51. Spidey mentioned that he wonders how it is to be Thor given his line of "With great power comes great responsibility" and since Thor has ultimate power... how would his responsibility be? ;)

By the way, for those interested in Marvel Legends... in that same site, just click back to the categories and go to the Marvel Legends area.
New figs include Ultimates Cap, Silver Centurion Ironman (cool!), Current armor Ironman (a bi shabby I think) Brown costume Wolvie (cool!), Phoenix and Dark Phoenix, Storm, Venom, Doc Ock and a whole lot more!

i'm getting rid of my magic cards. i'm selling all my decks (with protectors). great condition and has its share of rare cards (i.e. dual lands, restricted cards, etc.). Real cheap! Want to concentrate on clix and comic books.

T'was an unfateful turn of events that Thor erred on Spiral's constitution and fell victim to her deadly blades. Even mine friend Vision hath been ensorcelled to smite Thor with a heavy object. Truly the gods have forsaken Thor when my final sacrifice was graced with a critical miss....
How could such have happened?!?
Would it be that the experienced Thor prove to be more worthy than the veteran one?!? For the younger Thor hath won the hand of Jane Foster..... Alas, Thor had to settle for Sarah... a true artist she was. :grin:
