Every Monday we'll bring you a new Weekly Poll that will run Monday to Monday. Last weeks poll, asking which HeroClix Add-On you liked best, will end later today. So far, the Outdoor Adventure Pack is the runaway winner.

This weeks poll asks: Which HeroClix Set has had the best Uniques?

In contention: All six sets released to date. Please consider all uniques from the set when casting your vote.

With Despero, Amazo, SOD Superman, Martian Manhunter, and Mordru, CJ takes the cake. Putting Nightcrawler's name in the poll might skew the votes, though.

I think Xplosion has the greatest number of usable uniques. Sauron, Goblin, Phoenix, and Savage hulk are all great.

It also has the fewest lame uniques. Even lesser ones like Shadowcat or Weapon X are good for something.

Sure CT has Moondragon and Nightcrawler, but it also has Red Skull and Medusa. (for example)

I'll cast my vote for Cosmic Justice!

Despero
SOD Superman
Eclipso
Martian Manhunter
Vampire Batman

All high priced, but all so effective! With the exception of Batman, the others could be centerpieces for your team.

Despero is so good, he's almost broken.

Oops, forgot about Amazo and Mordru. That gives you 7 solid Uniques.

I believe X-plosion would be second.

Cosmic Justice---at least until Critical Mass which I think will blow all the other unique sets out of the water!

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Indy.

Not so much for playability, but so many nice looking figs and odd ideas represented.

Judge Death with his goofy dial.
Awemose look to Hellboy.
Beautiful wings (and bare arse) on Angelus.
Siamese being our first multi-fig character.
Great functionality on Arwyn and Witchblade.
Funky Tank that is Sam.
Hecate becoming the most expensive support figure in HC. ;)

I liked the all of the Us, despite the fact that many of them were remakes of R/E/Vs. Shi looks incredible (though I'll never use her over the Vet).

The only figure I was disappointed in was Cyblade.

Sure, CJ was a good set, but it did bring us Lex Luthor AND Brother Blood, not to mention Batgirl (whose only saving grace is the awesome sculpt).

I have to agree with Malger, though. CM looks to have the best of both worlds: great looking figures with highly playable dials. It's going to be hard to top this set, if you ask me.

I am going to go IC.
Thanos
Vision
Quasar
Cap America
Wasp
Electra
Wolverine
Spiderman (one of the best versions IMO)
and even Nightmare a.ka then one that never misses, ever!
Even the lame ones aren't so lame.
You get a Jug that can be carried.
You get a Prof X that can control a little longer
You get a Cyclops that is a realy cheap RCE.

IC is the worst, solely because so many Uniques already were REV's.

Xplosion has the least useless Uniques (IMO) - but the two best are Sauron and Deathbird - great price, great abilities. Goblin is a great support piece, but is relatively ineffective on his own.

CJ has some powerful figures, but they are so expensive. 177 Martian Manhunter, 200 Bizarro, 195 Amazo, 214? SoD Supes - I've only faced a Martian Manhunter and that was in a marquee.

So I'm sticking with CT - for having the combination of affordable and useful U's.

Nightcrawler
Spiral
Moondragon
Super-Skrull

I traded her easily because she was one of the five dups I end up getting, oh wise and powerful ninja master. ;)

I had to go with CJ because I saw first hand how much the power figs could change a game while playing in Battle Royals this summer. Sure, pulling Lex or Catgirl wasn't a game breaker, but so many of the rest of them are! In sealed play, MM, Bizarro, Amazo, Eclipso, Despero, Mordru, Bats and Supes can all definitely turn the tide.

If playability is the selling point, its not even a contest IMO - Cosmic Justice.

Yes, Despero is a deep dial beat stick, worth every one of his 144 points. Amazo is, well, amazing. Mordru is two points of rapid fire armor piercing pain that rarely misses. Batman and Superman are possibly the most potent incarnations of either put into a non-LE form. Even Bizarro and Martian Manhunter are no slouches, if a bit pricey. But the cherry on top of this butt kicking sundae IMO:

Eclipso.

There are few examples of a more grossly efficient, no frills combat dial in the game. A Mind Control attack that rarely misses, a damage amount that tempts you to forget the Mind Control, and an ability to take and ignore lots of punishment. No Swiss army knife mentality here - this figure has a laser focus purpose as a cost efficient pain causing monster. At long range, up close, it doesn't matter - you're gonna get hit and you're gonna get hurt facing this foe. If he had Psychic Blast or Outwit, he'd be flat out broke. For a price tag of just 108, something that can solidly make the roster of 300 point teams and scale up as a boot stomping member of 1000 point teams. I've seen Despero pulled in sealed booster events - this guy I fear seeing there far more.

The uniques in this set IMO are indicative of the set as a whole - just a solid mass of playable pieces unmatched in overall quality in any other set. CJ gave the impression that WizKids put the emphasis on playability - address the comic roots, but make 'em fun and effective to play first and foremost. As such there are very few mongrels in this set (more than redeeming the chaff heavy HT). I'm not even a DC superhero fan - I prefer the Marvel genre, but I've had more fun playing CJ than any other set hands down. If CJ is an indication of a WizKids new playability priority model then CM will be a HeroClix player's dream.

Cosmic Justice, for a slightly different reason than Marshal Law states. I happen to think Despero beats Eclipso. However, any set that allows you to argue between these two (and Amazo, and the underrated Martain Manhunter) is the best set.

Cosmic Justice also has a couple of the biggest duds in the Unique world (Lex Luthor and Brother Blood) but hey, 8 of the 12 are good to great, and two more are solid. I'll take those odds.

The only real drawback is that they're all a little pricey for 200 point games.

Well, so far Cosmic Justice is way out in front of the pack...

This is a really tough call! I like the CJ set (Eclipso and Mordru make a phenomenal team!), but my vote would have to go to the CT set. Lately I have been beheaded by more Spirals, and done a fair amount of scorching with my Super-Skrull, not to mention the chaos Nightcrawler brings to a game! These figs are all cost-effective, powerful, and more utililized than the ones from CJ, IMO.

Heading into the weekend...Cosmic Justice is carrying more than half the vote! Who'd a thunk it?

In terms of playability CJ all the way, there were so many great uniques I didn’t even know where to begin.
