Spend your holiday weekend ODing on HeroClix!
The Chicagoland Gamers Conclave takes place from Friday, 28 November through Sunday, 30 November. Last year's CGC showed a strong presence for HeroClix, so this time we're making it bigger than ever with six HeroClix events!
Not only is every one of these matches covered with LE prizes, but we're giving you a double incentive to play your butt off. X-Men buddies Hank McCoy and Bobby Drake will be available for the winners in the overall First Place and Fellowship categories!
Here's the schedule of events:
*** Friday, 28 November ***
2 PM - 100 Point Mixed
Bring on the little guys! This 100-point mixed event will test your ability to do more with less.
6 PM - 300 Point Indy
Duke it out for the Indy crown in this 300-point event!
*** Saturday, 29 November ***
10 AM - 300 Point Marvel
It's the Marvel leg of the weekend, as the Earth's Mightiest Heroes square off in a 300-point event!
2 PM - 300 Point DC
In the final single-universe event at CGC, you'll be living the Challenge of the Super Friends in this 300-point event!
6 PM - 300 Point Mixed
Let the universes combine in the mixed stage of our 300-point events!
*** Sunday, 30 November ***
12 PM - 500 Point Mixed
Last chance to rack up those points in the CGC Weekend Event! Bring out your 500-point Mixed force for all the marbles! Just one warning, though: We're playing with Murderworld rules!
Final scores will be tallied and prizes awarded immediately afterward!
In addition to HeroClix, there are also events going on all weekend for MechWarrior, Mage Knight, Warhammer 40k, and dozens of other games!
The Chicagoland Gamers Conclave is held at the Indian Lakes Resort, 250 W Schick Road in Bloomingdale, IL, right near Stratford Square Mall. Admission is $35 for the full weekend.
