I have seen the error of my ways. I realize now it is not, in fact, Chief Knock-A-Homer in the Box.
It is actually a cat. A canister of poisonous gas is also within the box, attached to a hammer rigged to drop only if a small amount of radioactive isotope decays. The isotope may have decayed since the Box appeared. It may not have. If it has decayed, the cat is dead. Since we can't directly observe that cat until such time as the Box is opened, quantum physics tells us the cat exists in both states at once: alive and dead.

Let me put out all my reasoning here. In comics, what did Onslaught do? Eat everybody and basically reset the entire universe with "Heroes Reborn." (And yes, I know I'm the only person on the planet who liked the idea of Heroes Reborn.)

What could the box do? Well, if it's the first big fig of Hero Clix 2.0, then it would basically eat all the origional heroclix universe. And who better than Onslaught for the task?

I have to give mad props to Shin for making the box. Haven't been able to actually make it yet, me being in class at the moment (Stop looking at me, Mr. Dolan...:noid: ) but I can tell that it will just rock.

Anyway, I'm REALLY hoping it's Onslaught, just 'cause he hauled Juggernaut's butt.

The guy who runs my local shop has ALWAYS has the goods on info concerning HeroClix. He is close to a few guys in WK and has always had the 411 about HC, and it has always been 100% right.

He told me just an hour ago that it IS Galactus inside the box, BUT

BUT, the big G will be a CON-ONLY figure and will run around $100 each. It will also be limited to 1 per person

Ok, so I didn't actually fully read the quote, kinda posted in blind fury. I'll still buy Clix. I'm still under the impression that Wiz Kids listens to their customers. And I still think that the Box is the ultimate of cool. I mean, hell, when else am I going to be able to be the general of an army? But Galactus? Not so cool. Well, con-only Galactus is not so cool. In fact, Con-only is the only thing that's really gotten me cheesed off. E-Bay is almost always over priced, ESPECIALLY with the likes of something like Galactus. The closest Con to me is Pensylvania, and that's just about a day's drive. So maybe it's not impossible, I'll give you that. You have a point. I'm just a little hot-headed is all. I'm just saying that they made it WAY more trouble than all of their customers would have appreciated.

This is what I can remember from the (totaly sweet) Onslaught story line (which was so sweet I almost **** my pants).

Prof X. wipes Mags's memory clear after the red and purple clad one rips the metal from Wolvie's bones. This basically transforms Chucky into Onslaught, who kicks Juggernaut's hiney up and down the eastern seaboard. (Which was totaly sweet)

'Slaught goes on to absorb Franklin Richards and get an army of Sentinels that blocks off Manhattan from the world and wants to form humanity into one consience so that he can crush it with his heel. Then all of Earth's heroes come up and lay the smack down on him, namely the Hulk. Onslaught turns into pure energy, and there was some twist that mutants couldn't attack him or something, so all of Earth's human heroes pass taking him out.

Oh, and somewhere in there is a cool scene where Scott and Jean learn about the "Xavier Protocols", basically tapes of Xavier describing how he can take out each and every X-Man. Good stuff.

on the flight stand is a large chunk of rock, looks to be part of a temple. carved into the front of the rock is the face of mistress death.
standing atop the rock is a figure, he's surrounded by fallen heroes. a thor made of glass (i.e. vet. invisible woman), a spiderman with his head caved in, a decapitated iron man.
the figure, holding one fist high in the air brandishing the infinity gauntlet, is thanos.
he'd be encased in that sinestro plastic, but it would be red... and it would resemble the shape that thanos himself took when he replaced eternity.

the smoke would be opaque black and gray, and the fire would be clear red plastic, sort of like the solovani celestial from mageknight....

one hand would be pointing, another hand would be made to hold supporting character pogs. so it would seem like he has their soul.
some pogs might be silver surfers woman shalla ba (or what ever her name is), doctor doom's mom, aunt may, bucky (lol).
