I just had a brainstorm. I'm supposed to be doing a short-ish comic story for alternative story telling classes. Before about two minutes ago, I had no clue as to the plot. But it hit me. NIGHT OF THE BOX! Basically I'm risking my grade on seeing if I can make my instructor laugh enough.

Basically, the Prophet Draddog warns our heroes of an evil box, off in some mysterious place, the force of which is draining his power. It's up to our heroes to save humanity from the box!

People in "our team" will have code-names suspiciously like people who've recently posted a lot in this thread. PLEASE don't feel insulted if I leave you out...or if I chose you for that matter.)

Hey, you know what they say in Quantum Physics about this box thing? As long as you don't open the box, then what is inside is in a state of observational flux. Scientifically, there are an infinite number of possibilities as long as YOU DON'T OPEN THE BOX. Could be a dead cat owned by one Schroedinger...could be anything....a much better existanve then whatever actually is IN the box, when it is observed.

Also, there's is the Pandora parable about letting out everything but 'hope'. Open the box, let all hope be gone.

There's two arguments to NEVER open the box.

As for my pet project, giving a slight nod to Deadpool lore (From the Agent of Weapon X story line), as per the initial location of the box, I can assure you the quote "Eye-Oh-Wah? What is this mystic, magical land you speak of?" or something along those lines will show up.

And as to actually relate to the topic of the Box, thus having a point officially for this post (note the capitalization), although my brain is telling me Galactus, my heart is really wanting Onslaught.

it's a sentinel sized base, with an industrial strength flight stand.
on the flight stand is a large chunk of rock, looks to be part of a temple. carved into the front of the rock is the face of mistress death.
standing atop the rock is a figure, he's surrounded by fallen heroes. a thor made of glass, a spiderman with his head caved in, a decapitated iron man.
the figure, holding one fist high in the air brandishing the infinity gauntlet, is thanos.
he'd be encased in that sinestro plastic, but it would be red... and it would resemble the shape that thanos himself took when he replaced eternity.

A hole appeared in the sky of both universes and scared their people, the Marvel people all met in a big meeting and DC's problem was left to the JLA. Dr.Doom decided to bring Doombots to look at the at the hole Silver Surfer escorted the bots. The bots saw a whole city in the sky when they looked down. The JLA agreed earlier to do nothing and see what it happens but once they heard the screaming they saw a silver glossy image the sky for a second. Then the JLA planned a attack but some members reclutant to attack and they fought. As we continue we see Silver Surfer tell the group on what he saw....
