We are not sure who left it or why. The Sentinel is in place to demonstrate scale, and did not come with the box. So far, no WizKids employee has had enough nerve to open it up. A friend of mine was telling me of a discussion he was having with someone in a comic shop once, basically to the effect of, "If you ever want an in-scale Galactus HeroClix piece, you'll have to put on a Galactus costume, then run around the map."

Of course, he didn't take into account the fact that Galactus can change size!

God, I'm a nerd.

Anyway, if it IS a Galactus piece (and if it is...man...), how much is the thing gonna cost? Will it even be available for purchase, or is it something available for use at only tournaments? Since the big-figs generally cost 20 bucks at first, and this is monumentally bigger....well? Any guesses? I say 60 bucks. Just because I have no idea. Guess. Please.

I like the idea of creating 3D buildings to use in your maps. They can create a whole series that would connect together and you can design your own Heroclix world. Perhaps combining DC building and Marvel buildings would be a dream come true.

One of the venues I played at used a 3D map and it was quite cool. Had to set up a host of new rules for it though.

With the scale reference of the sentinal, the box looks about the right size to fit 4 Galactus' with either a 3x3 or 4x4 dial base.

Ok, it id Galactus with the new 2.5 dial. The trapazoidal slot gives him 2 power nexi, for up to 3 powers on each stat. That Impervious, Super Senses, Shapechange combo is such a killer!! But don't worry, he's only got maybe 20 clixs of that. Plus the new team ability Cosmic Entitiy, makes him immune to Outwit/Perplex/Mind Control

Folks it is I think it is WITHOUT A DOUBT, GALACTUS.
First, we get almost all of the REMAINING HERALDS in one set. Next, the Prophet Boneyard drops hints about hearing Galactus Rumors. Then the whole bigger fig FAQ thing. And now this, a pic of a box with a sentinel next to it to show that the sentinel is SMALL next to the box. The only reason to show a sentinel is to show that this is a VERY BIG PRODUCT. It is Galactus probably in his package. No not a case either. Just Galactus himself. The sentinel next to a case wouldn't be a valid comparison. They are trying to show how big this "THING" is next to a sentinel. It is Marvel, so it is undoubtedly the eater of planets, IMO.
IF we are REALLY LUCKY, it'll come with a Secret Wars scenario complete with a BIGGER MAP, rules, and possibly some other missing Secret Wars figs.
They make all kinds of BIGGER figs for Mage Knight & MW. It was only a matter of time before Heroclix got some too.

I agree that the box must contain only one of something since it wouldn't make sense to compare one sentinel to many whatevers.

Do you think Galactus (if it is him) would be standing or kneeling? If he were kneeling, he could be a technically bigger representation but then take up the same space.

As for included figures, I hope he comes with Dazzler, the greatest and funkiest of his heralds!

So I was at Toyfair last year, and I was able to see the MechWarrior Dropship before it was released at the cons and such. This was before I was really into Clix, so I'd never even checked this site, or any others for that matter. My question is, did they have this much hoopla about the Dropship?

I'm just concerned...I'd be EXTREMELY pissed off if they open it, and it's Galactus (or something equally cool) and you can only buy it at a convention down in Tulsa or whatever. I want something I can own, darn it. I think I'd pay sixty bucks for a Galactus...not much more. I'm already working hard to reconcile shelling out 200 for a case of Unleashed...but I must have them all. Same goes for Galactus.

Wow...did I just say I'd pay sixty dollars for a giant HeroClix piece? I think I've lost my mind.

And by the way...if it's NOT Galactus, Wizkids is probably scrambling to make one now. If it's not the G-Man, anything that they unveil will be supremely disappointing, gagued by all of our reactions to the mystery box. I expect to see the eater of worlds when this is all done.

If there is a Galactus inside, it won't be as big as the box. You have to figure maybe as much as 1/5 of the length and width of the box is probably taken up with styrofoam packing material, just like the dropship.

Considering the box is labeled MARVEL heroclix it is most obviously not the new DC set.
