Hey everyone I am looking into making my own custom map with 3D buildings.
Anyhow, I am wondering where I can get images of high enough resolution to use when printing the brick walls, windows, doors etc.
I'm pretty good with photshop so, tiling images and even adding some of my own personal touches would not be a problem for me.
Also, anybody know about how many points thick the grid line on a heroclix map is?
Thanks,

I've made 3D cardstock buildings using ALL SORTS of image sources. Here's the deal: you can have decent printing results with 72dpi IF the image is large to begin with (allowing you to scale down without too much degradation), or if you're using simple gradients/solid colors-- of course, no one really wants to play on a drab map (I hated the Indy Starter layout)! I've used textures/skins from PC games, magazine/ad scans, photos-- even comic books (for an authentic feeling). For REALLY interesting results, use Brush filters and play with the color channels.

Reagrding the grid, I believe line thickness is 6-8 pix.
