Actually that's not true. 3 Live Kru (BG James, who used to be known as Road Dogg, Ron "The Truth Killings, who used to be K-Kwik, and Konnan) wrestle quite often on the TV tapings. Most of TNA's TV tapings are centered around the X Division and tag team wrestling with Petey Williams (best finisher EVER), Amazing Red, Chris Sabin, Kid Kash, and teams like Kazarian and Michael Shane, America's Most Wanted, Triple X, and so on. There are quite a few names that old school WWE/WWF fans will know, but TNA has more of their own stars that can light it up and yes I enjoy TNA ten times more than WWE because although they have storylines too, their product is more centered around fast paced wrestling than talking. You know going to a TNA event you'll have more than 1 match an hour. This last week was the most talking I've seen at a TNA event and I found out that it was because they had alot of their show centered around Jeff Hardy and once again in typical Jeff Hardy fashion he no showed the taping and they had to rework everything at the last second. Gee and most people wonder why I boo this guy incessantly. lol He has no real heart for the business. I can't wait until the Impact taping this week. Rowdy Roddy Piper will be there and we'll get to see Raven vs. The Alpha Male Monty Brown (sweet!)

LOL Ok it's cool man. It's just that if you're talking real talent that actually gets used, you could go through at least more than half of TNA's roster whereas in WWE on either show you get the same 5 or 6 guys rammed down your throat every week. I've had three friends of mine that for the longest time just loved WWE and didn't see TNA but didn't want to give it a chance and just called me a TNA mark. Last week I got the last of the three to see TNA and he became the third convert to saying that TNA makes WWE look stupid talentwise.

Here're my thoughts for who I think should be in a new NWO wolfpac:
Sid Vicious {leader}
DDP
Raven
Sean O'Haire
Golddust {becomes wolfdust, & does his make-up red & black} these five come back to the WWE as the wolfpac, & recruit these 5:
HHH
RVD
Rey Rey
Kane
John Cena
well, what do you think?
Mägo de Oz
10/14/2004, 17:50
Cant see that happening Basil... while i would enjoy seeing the nWo again no of them would fit in the nWo not even Triple H that can do almost any gimmick. If they decide to bring back the nWo to the WWE or anywhere they should stick to the original three maybe four (Syxx). If they add anyone else all they will do is damage the little name the nWo has left.
Basil Elks
10/14/2004, 17:53
But wouldn't Sid make a great wolfpac member? & could you imagine Rey Rey as an NWO member? Plus Sean O'Haire needs to comeback, maybe as 'Taker's Disciple.
Mägo de Oz
10/14/2004, 17:59
i dont know... Sid has his psycho gimmick, i dont think i could see him any other way. Rey Mysterio is a no...no... he is too jolly for an nWo member. As for Sean he could make a good Taker disciple IF (and it is a big if) Taker uses his old outfit! Taker isnt the same guy without it. I am happy he is back to his original gimmick but he needs his outfit.
and he should never do the last ride again...

On another note, does anyone else think that it'd be cool if, come the next RAW, Randy Orton boasts about defeating Ric Flair, & being a true "Legend Killer" & no-one can stop him. Then no sooner after he's done boasting, Abdullah the Butcher appears on the Titan-tron, & says "So, you think that you'll a 'Legend Killer', huh?, Well howabout you try, & take me on?" So in just a couple of days, the WWE has released A-Train, Billy Gunn, Test, Chuck Pulambo (sp), Gail Kim, and Nidia, because they weren't being used enough for what they were getting paid apparently (and some have been out injured for awhile). I love how they can take some superstars that have been with the company for years upon years though, and dump them, yet offer up 1 mil for this new Tough Enough contest, and hire as many of the 'divas' as they please from the Diva search, not to mention mistakes they've brought up from OVW (including Mordecai and Heidenwreck his first time around). An why get rid of Gail and not someone like Ivory? Last and only times I remember seeing her lately is hosting Heat before a ppv or some ####. I swear they need to get their priorities n such straight before TNA gets bigger and more mainstream, and before Ted Turner starts another company if those rumors are true, because WWE product is sucking hardcore these days.

As for the rest we didn't see them on tv so they dont need them... Gail is the best female wrestler they ahd and they let ehr go... that was wrong...
lets hope they all go to TNA or something and kick ###!
Now if they just fire about 30 more wrestlers they can go back to making good shows again!:)
This whole year has been a real disappointment. Are they even trying? Do they care if the fans are going away?
The only thing I am happy about is Booker T finally getting a push. I just hope they follow it up with something. That's the problem with their pushes. They build up and hype one aspect of a wrestler or match and when the even comes and goes, there is no follow up. They drop things so people don't care.

the WWE should bring back Sean O'Haire.
I am sorry to see all this talent go. I blame the show and not the performer for the most part for these people not being more popular. The story writers simply aren't trying any good plots or stables. I remember a terrific match between Kane and Albert about 2 years ago. Best big guy match I ever saw. Albert reversed the chokeslam with a ddt, lifted Kane for the Boggo bomb and Kane kicked out and choke slammed him again. Whoever was supposed to be the main match for the night must have been delayed on a flight and couldn't make it and this was a last moment thing and it was great. A nothing wrestler is only that because of the show. I hope all these performers go to TNA and bring the show up a few notches. I really do brother. Man I miss when we had matches on here.

La Parka runs in and hits Hulk Hogan in the head, for old times sake, and steals the belt then runs away.
The WWE stories are terrible. Smackdown is on right now and I have ZERO interest in it to go and watch it. I like Booker T but, the stories are so weak. As a matter of fact, the APA Protection Agency was my favorite part of the show for years. Bradshaw and Farooq rocked. Bradshaw was even my favorite wrestler then. Now he's the champ and I could care less. The stories are just awful.
La Parka hands Hulk his belt back and helps him up. He dusts him off and shakes his hand. Hogan smiles and shakes his finger at him like La Parka has been a "naughty boy." La Parka exits the ring and Hogan begins to pose with the belt.
La Parka sneaks back in the ring and again assaults Hogan about the head and neck with the steel chair. Lawler can be heard saying, "Well, you know JR, he IS the CHAIR -Man of the ring!"
La Parka stands over the fallen Hogan doing a mock Guitar solo with one foot planted firnly on his behind. The lights dim and the fans GO WILD!!!

Actually, Luger is awaiting trial on possession and distrubution of steriods and other controlled substances. He's not charged with the death of Elizabeth, because, I believe, the pain pills she took was hers, and the fact, those pain pills were mixed with alcohol were the cause of death.
Now I have my theories, as to how she recieved the back injury, requiring the use of pain pills, and her "bloated" look towards the end of her run in WCW. And lets just say they don't involved Luger either.

All of this WWE babble. I am so disillusioned with them it's not even funny. Thank goodness for NWA TNA. Victory Road was absolutely incredible (I was there for the whole weekend). Everyone top to bottom was so overly friendly in an era of wrestling where you don't see that enough. They did several autograph signings and some of the wrestlers even made it a point to single out and look for people who made signs for them just so they could personalize the event for those people. As much stuff as I give Jeff Hardy as a "heel fan" he even signed all of our Anti Jeff Hardy signs and got quite a kick out of a few of them. Erik Watts made it a point to find my girlfriend and autograph a sign she made for him which made her weekend. And TNA is still growing by leaps and bounds now that they've signed Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Spanky (Brian Kendrick), Jacqueline, Billy Gunn (whatever name he'll be using since WWE owns that name), Macho Man Randy Savage, and Diamond Dallas Page. I came out of Victory Road so impressed even over the great stuff they normally do and watched Raw the next night and was so B-O-R-E-D by it. If TNA gets a prime time slot where everyone can see it, Vince will have a worse war than he did with WCW and this time I hope he loses. At one time Vince may have made wrestling, but now he thinks he's so invincible that he doesn't care about the business or about the people who pay to watch it.
And I hope they fire the Hurricane so he can go to TNA and get used RIGHT.
Heck at this point SmackDown is even more entertaining to watch than Raw anymore.

HHH is still one of my favorites, in the WWE. In my top 5.
Will either Maven, Benoit, Jerhico or Orton get the belt from HHH while they are in charge of Raw? I caught the end of Raw last night and it is INDEED good to be married to the daughter of the company. Don't get me wrong, I do NOT want Maven to be the champ but, he should have been last night.
It was too long and too drawn out not to have changed hands and shocked the viewers. I don't know why they feel the need to have a wrestler lose their titles at only PPVs. That is just wrong.
I guess we are going to see Benoit or Jerhico go at HHH next week and then the other will follow. Then, will we finally see Randy Orton regain the title from HHH? I doubt it. They will waste the gimmick of having them run Raw to have the title change hands at a PPV.

You are wrong about a few things...
First last night on Raw the tag titles changed so... they dont only change on PPVs... second Orton can't take the belt from HHH... There is no way Orton can win the belt while HHH has it...

First of all, the Tag Team titles have become a JOKE! This from the Federation that brought us Demolition, The Hart Foundation, The Rockers, etc. And the same Federation that bought or stole The Steiners, The Road Warriors, and others. The tradition is rich but the current list is not impressive at all.
Second, about Orton, Why?
Is it because HHH does not want to be a legend that is beaten/killed by Orton? Is his ego that fragile? HHH should be big enough to put anybody over. Flair did it for Orton. Don't tell me that Flair is just past his prime because Ric Flair could believably beat any WWE superstar (including any of the steroid induced monsters). He's the Nature Boy! And the Nature Boy jobbed to put Orton over. HHH just needs to think about the future of the company.

I agree about the Tag Teams being a joke but still they are belts and they changed hands on Raw... i was just answring you...
As for Otron and HHH is because Orton had a match that if he los the couldnt have a title while HHH was the heavyweight champion and he lost that match against none other than The Nature Boy...
HHH still has a few years left in him... While he has them he should be like Flair... With that i mean that he should get title shots and be the champion once he retires in a few years he should help someone else being on top by passing the torch just like Flair did...

I just don't want them riding him into the ground. I respect what he has done and he is one of the few wrestlers with personality and mic skills. But, someone else just needs to be the champ.
Also, he is NO Ric Flair. Flair was something not seen before. HHH needs to go a long way to make that a fair comparison.
Hey Karma0001, is it true what you said about TNA signing Hall, Nash and Gunn? With all the stars WWE has let go recently, Tna has quite the pool to pick from if they can afford it and if the current TNA talent will work with them. I'm hoping for a better time slot for the program as well. So early in the day, people would have to tape it. McMahon isn't even trying anymore. I find I watch half the show (Raw) muted. Simon D? Give me a break. Not one decent story line going and it would be sooo simple to make better one's with the talent they have brother.

Didn't you think that HHH and HBK would be out of the title hunt when they were fueding? It would have intensified the fued. It would have made their struggle more about pride and less about being champion. They could have gone back and forth for a while and fans could have been satisfied.
Batista is not the right "TYPE" to be champion. By that I mean, he looks like a champion so he can't be a champion. It's like Big Show, no one should be able to take him. The Big Show is a monster and unlike Andre the Big Show has moves and mic skills. He would be an unbeatable champion. Batista is HUGE!!! He's scary! He is chiseled and mean looking and with Flair teaching him just a few finese moves, he would be unstoppable. He just has the look . . . That's why he won't ever be champion. If he is, it will be a VERY short title reign (like Sunday's PPV to Monday's RAW!!! ).
What about Booker T? Bradshaw? Shelton Benjamin? Kurt Angle? Chris Benoit? Talent, to be sure. Are any of them good enough to strap the WWE onto their backs and carry the company? What with Undertaker retiring and Stone Cold being too crippled and the Rock making movies. . . Who will save the WWE?

This is an old rumor. Apparently, The Next Big Thing, Brock Lesner did not want to job to Taker on his road to Wrestlemania and retirement. Taker was supposed to go out on top with one last win at Wrestlemania to keep his streak of undefeated there unbroken. I have not heard anything more on this though since Lesner is gone.

If i had to choose anyone to be the champ i would choose Triple H just because he is the one that i see that could keep the company going, but since Triple H is the champ I will choose someone else. That other person would be Chris Jericho. Why? Because he is has the mic skills and ring talent. In my eyes he is one of three in thg WWE right now. With that I mean Triple H, Kurt Angle, and Jericho. Those three are the only ones that can make you love them or hate them in just a second. So they certainly have the mic talent to handle it.
As for Batista i could see him being a champion but In a year or two... He still needs to work on his ring skills (wrestling skills) once he gets that right and becomes the IC champ for a few month then I could see him goingup to the Heavyweight Belt. But he still needs to work abit more on his mic and ring skills.
I think that they gave Benoit his chance and he didn't do as good as they expected. So i dont think that he will have another chance for a while. While he might be one of the top three wrestlers in the WWE right now (wrestling skills) he is one of the worst with a mic on the WWE so that doesn't help him much. Booker T should retire, he isn't the same as he used to be. Maybe he should get a small title run and then retire.

Then Batisita pulled off the acting job of the century and HHH still insulted him and he just took it. I tricked the GM of RAW! HHH stands for HA! HA! HA!
That was just stupid and insulting! How about something thought out and clever??? The whole GM thing would be great for putting somebody over that needed it like Shelton Benjamin with his title but HHH hardly needs a push!
I guess I'm sad I missed a good opening to a show where the opening was the high point.
Yeah sorry you missed thew opening Rich. There is a link on the www.wwe.com site, lower left. It was a aprody of the Desperate Housewives controversial drama and a shot at the NBA for the atheles going into the stands. Hey does anyone know anything about the new WWE24/7? i know it is a digital cable channel but I do not know where it is offered. Madison, WI does not have it. The line up looks awesome if you look on the wwe.com site you can see it off the link.
Hulkamania must truly be dead. I hang my head in sorrow. Man, no posts to this thread in almost a month. What does that say about the shape of wrestling today?

Alright, I'm in.
I'm gonna be the first alias used by Adam "Edge" Copeland:
Sexton Hardcastle. Hell yeah.
I am not getting the Rumble this year. First time in a whole LOT of years that I won't see it. I don't see the point because I don't even know who's in it or what its about. I also don't know what the other matches are.
I guess I'm posting this so someone can tell me a good reason to get it. A good match or matches. A good rivalry. Something amazing happening. Just something.

I wish I could, but it seems like they've found a way to screw up the one event that logically cannot be screwed up. Bahhh...
This was the one event that I really liked every year by the WWE. I would get it sometimes and not get Wrestlemania! Even when I was a WCW fan I watched the RUMBLE! This time. . . I don't even know what's going on!

Eh, at least they're priming Batista for the main event. Nice and slow, unlike Lesnar/JBL/Orton/etc...

who's orton ....
oh you mean that guy they killed off all his heat now they have to show him diamond cutting hhh after every show (off air most of the time) in order to get people to like him.... i remember that kid....
i would of liked to seen a goldberg type run with batista from the begining ... can you imagine good ole jr saying this guy never loses... wow look at the horror .... after every match.....

Yeah, that might've been cool, but I REALLY like what they're doing with him now. TWO clean wins over Benoit, La Resistance, Jericho...he's being pushed as the unstoppable monster that RAW has needed since they screwed up Kane.

Glad to see more people who agree that Batista is the man!

No, no, no, no, no...
Triple H is the man! Batista is cool but Triple H is better...

HHH is indeed the man. Best heel in the business, and well on his way to becoming the best heel of all time. Batista, however, is an even rarer breed: a big guy with skill. The guy can move, he can sell, and he can hit like a truck. Batista just plain rules.

I started collecting the cards last year, but I'm the only one that I know in my area (San Diego) that has any interest. The game is really hard to find here, and I have to order it online.
Anyway, I think HHH is really good, but a little overrated. I also think it is about time he stopped being so dominant in the world title division. He can find other things to do I think.
I think Randy Orton could have had a good title reign had he stayed a heel. I wasn't happy to see Benoit's reign end, but had Orton remained a cocky jerk heel he would have had an interesting reign. But they turned him face way too soon and now their plans for him were kinda botched and they rushed the feud so they can move onto the feud that has been better built up: HHH v. Batista.
I like how this feud has been hinted at the past two months. The best feuds are the ones that are built up for months. I think the Foley/Orton feud was one of the best in recent years because it was built up from June 2003-January 2004, until we saw the payoff at Wrestlemania and Backlash.
I think HHH should drop the title to Batista at Mania. Batista has got a lot of heat right now and they should have it continue by giving him the belt. Cena should win the Smackdown title too. Wrestlemania 20 was about giving the guys who have busted their asses for years what they finally deserved. Wrestlemania 21 should be about pushing the younger guys.

Hey hulkamania, what foils do you have? Would you be interested in trading foils for clix? I'm looking to start some new decks. Oh, on the topic of Batista, they posted the spoilers for his superstar card on CI.com. He is SICK.

me and my older bro have been wanting to play the game but we cant find the cards... only in spanish and we dont want to play it in spanish...

Triple H is the best, sure he's had that title for a long time but he is the one that should have it for now, Yes Benoit, Orton, Bats could be great champs in there own way but Triple is the man to have the belt now... What better to have Bats beat the best in the business to get the belt?

True, but it wouldn't seem right if Orton was still in Evolution and Triple wasn't the cahmp. How can you have someone else other than Triple be the champ?(in Evolution that is)

I agree, this is probably one of the top feuds in the past few years... Even if I know what's going to happen I've still be watching it...

Hopefully Bats is the only one to get the belt. I dont think Cena is ready for the belt while he is a good US champ (and it hurts me to say it, I hate Cena) He is not ready to get that belt... Cena is one of the more sloppy and careless wrestlers... But people like him, so he will probably get the belt...

How I would do Wrestlemania:
Main Event: Raw World Title: HHH(c) . Batista
Winner: Batista
I would want JBL/Cena in the main event, but this has been built up more. Get the title off HHH already and give it to a guy who has a lot of heat now.
Smackdown World Title: JBL(c) v. John Cena
Winner: Cena
Smackdown! has had a heel champ for what will be 9 months by the time Mania happens. At Mania JBL should drop the title to the top face on Smackdown.
Shawn Michaels v. Kurt Angle
Winner: HBK, but either way it will be a hell of a match. Either have it be a inter-promotional match or move HBK to Smackdown so Smackdown has more upper carders.
WWE United States Title:
Orlando Jordan(c) v. Rey Mysterio Jr.
Winner: Rey Jr.
I see Jordan stealing the title from Cena as part of the JBL/Cena feud. The title then goes to Rey Jr., since it is about time he got a title besides the cruiserweight and tag titles.
WWE Cruiserweight Title:
Funaki(c) v. Nunzio v. Paul London v. Kidman v. Spike v. Chavo
Winner: Paul London after last eliminating Funaki. I really like Funaki's push, so I think he should keep the title until Mania where he loses it to who should be an up and coming star, Paul London.
WWE Raw Tag Team Titles:
Regal and Tajiri(c) v. Hassan and Daivari
Winners: Regal and Tajiri.
WWE needs tag teams.
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Titles:
Bashams(c) v. Dudleys
Winners: The Dudleys make their return at Wrestlemania and win the tag straps.
Undertaker and Kane v. Snitsky and Heidenreich
Winners: Taker and Kane
Randy Orton v. Eddie Guerrero v. Booker T.
Winner: Eddie
Another inter promotional match
WWE Intercontinental Title:
Shelton Benjamin(c) v. Benoit v. Jericho v. Rhyno v. Hurricane v. Maven
Winner: Have no idea.
WWE WOmen's Title:
Trish v. Stacy
Winner: Stacy
Inter promortional Diva battle royal:
Christy v. Torrie v. Dawn Marie v. so on and so on.
Winner goes to Raw(if they aren't there already) for a Women's title shot

Triple H vs Batista... If they dont change Batista into a face i am happy... I dont care if he gets the belt or not, but i just hope that if he wins they dont change him into a face... (I dont want Orton all over again)
Smackdown World Title: JBL(c) v. John Cena
Winner: Cena

JBL all the way!

Angle = Better wrestler and better everything...

Winner: Rey Jr.

Nunzio or Chavo, They are the better wrestlers out of all
WWE Raw Tag Team Titles:
Regal and Tajiri(c) v. Hassan and Daivari
Winners: Regal and Tajiri.
WWE needs tag teams.
Regal doesnt have anything else... Hassan is new he should get those belts if the match were to happen.
WWE Smackdown Tag Team Titles:
Bashams(c) v. Dudleys
Winners: The Dudleys make their return at Wrestlemania and win the tag straps.
Dudleys
Undertaker and Kane v. Snitsky and Heidenreich
Winners: Taker and Kane
We all know Taker is not going to lose in Mania...
Randy Orton v. Eddie Guerrero v. Booker T.
Winner: Eddie
Another inter promotional match
Eddie
WWE Intercontinental Title:
Shelton Benjamin(c) v. Benoit v. Jericho v. Rhyno v. Hurricane v. Maven
Winner: Have no idea.
Jericho or Maven, I woul;d like to see what would happen if Maven won it...Though Jericho deserves to be a champion more.
WWE WOmen's Title:
Trish v. Stacy
Winner: Stacy
Trish... better wrestler...
Inter promortional Diva battle royal:
Christy v. Torrie v. Dawn Marie v. so on and so on.
Winner goes to Raw(if they aren't there already) for a Women's title shot
Torrie, that way i can see Torrie on monday nights...

Cactus Jack is back!
Where are all of the fellow wrasslers?
One last ditch effort to revive this stable.
Discussion topic: what was your favorite match in wrestling history?
Mine is Cactus Jack vs Triple H at the Royal Rumble 2001. It was one of the first real hardcore matches I've seen. But the weapons that were used were used in the context of the match. It didn't have needless violence that monoplized hardcore matches before.
