View Full Version : Who Are Your Favorite Indy Heroes?
The question is making the rounds again in Marvel and DC, so I figure what's fair is fair.
Male: THE BADGER
"Put on a mask and fight crime? You'd have to be crazy!" Little did we know.
Female: GHOST
The evil men and woman do to one another. And if you thought you were already dead, what you might do about it.
I still cannot believe there was no Elisa Cameron in the Indy set! What a crime! Indy could have used a Phasing flier.
Runner up: THE GRIFTER
Only because he's stuck between a rock and a hard place. He's no longer really Indy, but he's not DC either, except in law.
Comic Relief: E-MAN
Alec Tronn dusts Plastic Man on every concievable level.
Oops. Almost forgot.
Indy Team: ELEMENTALS
Years later, this book still makes The Authority look like a stroll through Mister Roger's Friendly Neighborhood.
Definitely worth your time to track down. And definitely to be read from the beginning. Created by some bloke named Bill Willingham.

lets see....
male: it's a tie...
Invincible from Invincible and ChristianWalker from POWERS. Christian will probably come out on top after the current POWERS arc ends. the arc for all who dont know is the origin of Christian and his alter egos.
female: Arwyn from Sojourn one of the best female heros IMO.
team: since Wildstorm is included on this forum Wildcats from Wildcats 3.0

Judge Dredd and Kabuki; fabulous characters and great strips both. Runners-up:
Reuben Flagg (American Flagg)
Siamese (Kabuki)
Kevin Matchstick (Mage)
Stix Brothers (Strontium Dog/2000AD)
Hellboy (duh!)
I'll probably be up all night adding to this list!
I always liked Scarab more than Kabuki or Siamese.
Persha of the first (Crossgen) and... oh, any number of Crossgen characters are really great.

I'll go with the Elementals, Justice Machine, Project Liberty, DNAgents/ Crossfire, and Airboy. But I don't think any are in the running to actually get made.
