Start with #1 of volume two.

But the series has been awesome from day one issue #1 of the first series. The same goes for Storm Watch.

All the venom and criticizing aimed at Image was never really at The Wildstorm Universe (which is beyond awesome). Lee's books got some unfair backlash from the other garbage being put out by Liefeld and crew that got read first.

3.0 is Volume 3. The 28 issue run before that starts with Lobdell and Charest and gets taken over by Casey and Phillips by #8.

Charest contributed tons of art to volumes 1 and 2.

Basically it goes like this:

Wild C.A.T.S. #1 to #50 (vol 1)
Wildcats #1 to #28 (vol 2)
Wildcats: Version 3.0 #1 to current (vol 3)

DC has collected Volume 2 into TP's as well, but almost all WC comics can be found for cover price.

Hope that helps.

If you become a hard core fan there are also minis for Spartan, Zealot, Voodoo, and Warblade.

I also highly reccomend The Grifter's two ill fated ongoings (cancellation had nothing to do with quality), Point Blank (Grifter mini), and Grifter vs Shi.

cool, thank you. i saw a couple of 3.0 trades today in the shop, and they had the pic's for the v2 trades. i thought about buying one but i kinda want to start at the begining of v2 (i think i have the first 5 or 6 issues, the zealot story that hitch drew might be the last i have)......

...... that and MLB sportsclix were calling my name.
