Glad I was running late with the poll this week, as it has allowed me to be very timely with it.

Of the next two big releases, DC: Unleashed and Marvel: Ultimates, which has you psyched up for HeroClix? Both? Neither? VOTE NOW!

I'm always way more hyped for the DC stuff. DC always has better sculpts and paint and the figs always seem more "well rounded" as a set.


Plus, the Bat Sentry and Wonder Woman with a 18 defense and Defend! Woot!!

I'm up for Unleashed. Ultimates is still too far away to get worked up about yet, but I'm sure I will. Right now, I just want my Captain Marvel (YOU can call him Shazam! if you want, I ain't gonna.) Big Red Cheese go!

Dang it if I have to be honest I have to say I am excited about both.

Now I wont try and get ever figure from the unleashed set! Later on I will trade for those DC figures I dont have! From the figures I do have!

Unleashed looks to be the best set yet. DC has so many characters, that each set is a treasure. CJ rocked. Unleashed looks better. More variety, not simply more Spiderman, Wolverine, and Elektra. The DC dupes are at least different and exciting, as opposed to "how can we make Spiderman close but different" or Patch- the waste of plastic, or Elektra IX- the final straw. Ultimates isn't doing a thing to impress me.

Unleashed- 2 cases ordered.
Ultimates- I might buy singles.

Well Kingdom Come was one of my favorite books ever, so that has me stoked.

But the Ultimates are the meat and potatos of my comic reading.

So i guess I can't choose or I will choose them both and take them all!

Well if I had to choose only one. Unleashed is my set. DC will always beat marvel in this fanboy's eyes. Esspecially with no FF in a marvel set!

DC unleashed! I mean you got SHAZAM! CAPTAIN MARVEL!, Black Adam, Dr. Fate, Killer Croc, KC Supes, Batman and SHAZAM! CAPTIAN MARVEL!!!

I ordered a Case and am thinking about ordering another. I'll sell what I don't want and be able to make back half my money at least.

Ultimates looks good but I don't think Ill be geeting a case maybe go in on one with a friend.

Oh I'm getting 3 cases of Unleashed... Why?

1) Cheaper than buying it by the booster or single case
2) I can sell the extra Uniques
3) Increased (if only a little) probability of getting Bat Sentry
4) DC is my bread & butter... I grew up on the classic 40s & 50s at my local Library... Plus: Kingdom Come, DKReturns, Green Lantern, Flash, etc... I just love these guys!

5) I'm not a rich guy that can just chase every little piece that Wizkids produces just because they want me to. They made the decision to raise LEs to 28 & make convention exclusives that take my money from buying boosters... Also the $1 inflation over .50 cents mean I have to go the multiple case buy way & only buy Boosters for Marquees.

I will sell off the extras, and trade the dupes for what I am missing. I hardly come out of pocket, especially for the second case. It pays for itself.

I voted for both, although right now I am more psyched up for Unleashed because it is coming sooner and we have seen more previews. When the previews start hitting for Ultimates I will be wanting that badly. I love both universes.

I couldn't care a rat's behind about most of the new DC figs. However, I voted for it because I love Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. I also loved Kingdom Come.

Frankly, I know that the DC set will have more better sculpts and probably more good dials than Marvel. Marvel has such a hit-or-miss record that it's hard to get excited about a set from them. If we could expect Clobberin' Time quality with every Marvel set then I'd vote Ultimates.

But as it is, Marvel is having to remake so many figs in Ultimates because they were wrong the first time. Hopefully they won't totally botch the new figs, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

There are some amazing Heroclix in these two sets. My friend and I have already split the costs of 1 case of each. Ghost Rider and Metallo are my top wants from the 2 sets currently, though Killowog, Bat Sentry, and Ult. Wolvie also look nice.
Counting down the days, there are gonna be so many trades in the boards...:grin:
