Even comic artists play HeroClix!

Hello all. I just recently got into HeroClix and have been addicted since day one! Hell of a game. Anyway I figured I'd share a few pieces of my work with everyone. I know I'm not a HUGE name in comics, but I'm working on it :)

Some of the work I've done you might have even read..I hope. Vampi Digital, Earth X Limited and I've even contributed with a few minor elements used in the storyboarding of the X-Men 2 movie and Daredevil.

Anyway now that I'm into HC and was told this is one of the best places about it I figured I'd join right up!

Welcome to the site, GeorgeD!

It's always nice to have another creative type to add his insight and imagination to the game and to the forum pages. There's a bunch of topics, arguments, ideas, member's opinions, and the occasional leaked rumor to wade through on here, but, if ya keep a good sense of humor and have, perhaps, a little TOO much time on your hands, it ought to be a rewarding place to visit. I was a long-time lurker, than the occasional poster, and now I'm posting to threads at 2:00am...sometimes later.:confused: But, I always seem to be in good company on here no matter what the hour. It seems even the web trolls must sleep sometimes.;)

Once again, welcome, and I hope you enjoy the site and find it an informative and friendly source of Heroclix "stuff" and even support if ya need it!

coad14 - Nothing for anyone right now. Currently I'm working on my own book as well as working with a few 3D software companies doing beta testing of their products and doing promo images for them. My most recent works were some print images done for the Center of Disease Controll through DC Comics (one of Robin and one of Martian Manhunter) and I also did some interior art for Herogames.com in their 5th Edition Core rulebook for their Hero RPG system.

I'll try and keep my more recent works posted if there's interest in seeing it. I frequent many forums, this is the first and looks like the ONE for HeroClix though! :)

You are right. This is the best Site for Heroclix. Just be careful of trolls. They get underfoot sometimes. :p

I know the addiction all to well...I've been playing Magic the Gathering since their Beta set...ohhh the $$$ I've wasted on games :)

I got into MtG right after Beta.

I think I broke even or made money because I sold every card I had since then. I currently only have one deck left that I use whenever my friends and I are feeling nostalgic for MtG.

With heroclix I only collect/buy/play with the figures that I currently read in comic book form. Therefore I sell/trade the rest of them. I am actually up alot of money with heroclix. :)

i sold all my magic cards as well and probably came out way ahead...i had a whole bunch of beta stuff and all kinds of others.....i saved about 400 cards just to play with whenever others wanted to play though

as far as Heroclix i am down big time...i just can't bring myself to sell anything...me and my friends play tons of rec games and trade though..and i still keep buying and buying

Looks great. They have a very Alex Ross painted look to them.

I know it's a fanboy's complaint but Superman looks drunk. (it's still better than I've done) I do see a future for you. Somebody will definately discover you soon.
