im new to mods need help

i`ve made a couple of mods and i need help on the dail
1. how do you make the top of the dail ,i tryed to paint the names on but could not paint that small
2.i`ve scaned a click dail and modified it on a photoshop but it takes to long dose anyone have any ideals how to make them faster
3 whats the best way to make the use cost

1.) I use Photoshop or Illustrator there are pre made templates for Illustrator, try a search on these noards or start a thread specifically asking for a p-shop or illo dial and top template

2.) Adobe Illustrator but once you have a scan and have erased the text so that it is blank, save it as a template and use the Shape text tool on a circle for tops, Dials are more complex but they can work that way too.

The advantage of Illo is that it makes crystal clear text at almost any size.

3.) Do a search for Retardog's point formula or post a request on these boards. Irt seemed to work well to me.

I don't have the URL but someone had a free site devoted to this, again search or ask.
