View Full Version : Maps Oa
I am going to be making a 3d map of oa soon and was wondering how I should go about it. I was thinking of just making a gray landscape with the guardians building in the middle (outdoor). I am going to be doing an "Assault on Oa" scenario and the building will be complete with turrets and everything! I was planning on making the building with foamboard and the base as well but I dont know what I should use to make the landscape gray and should the landscape be all clear terrain or should there be some things on them? let me know what you all think. thanks
in the comics, the main battery was a free standing structure next to the complex. You could make a lantern fairly easy, and you could make rules about defending and using the Battery for your scenerio.
The Idea would be like justice league the cartoon. There would be the one building with the main battery in the center with the light shining through the top. The building would have levels like steps where some turrets would sit.
The scenario is that you would have to pick either a green lantern or justice league member(each player chooses a green lantern or justice league member ( this will be after unleashed comes out so it will be easier to use a GL) and based on the total point value of the good guys I will make an army of manhunters led by a manhunter 2.0 and possibly a sinestro.
I will begin on one side of the table and the good guys on the other. (the map shape is a lengthy rectangle with the battery in the middle) And then we will begin. There is a forcefield (generated by the guardians) that I must destroy to set foot on the building.
(i havent made up my mind how I kill the force field whether it be by blowing a generator up or what) I think that will be it and the gen will have 17 defense and it will take 5 damage to kill it. After that I must trudge up the tower and touch the light. If i accomplish this, then they lose. If They win, I will offer a prize.
But that is a long way away. I am not sure how to build the map! that is what I need help with!
Also, to fire the turrets, would cost an action, taking away from the good guys' actions. That is the only way I though t the turret situation could work. And also, if a turret fired twice in a row, then it could not fire the next turn. (overheat hehe)
