Does anyone read this? (of course a ton do). I looove this series!! First of all the art is great!! Bendis is one of the best artists out there. Second of all its a great storyline!!!
Spoilers for 1st Issue!!!
In the first issue it shows Reed Richards being born, then it shows him at school 11 years later getting his head stuffed in the toliet (a swirley) and bullys bein arse's to him, then Ben Grimm saves him. Then Ben goes to Reed's house with him and then Reed's mother asks what happened and the dad steps in and said ''What happened this time?'' , and he said ''Nothing Sir'' and Ben Grimm sees his football coach (Reed's dad) and Ben said said I ended it (about what happened with Reed). Then Reed's dad said Good for you, That's why we call you the Grimm Reaper then Ben's like what?!? and Reed's dad says thats what all the dads are calling you the Grimm Reaper cause he's the baddest Linebacker on there team EVER...and Reed's dad was even askin him to stay for dinner, then Reed went to his room and started writing something and his mom came in and was like ''Sweetie I want you to eat this'' (shes trying to hand him some food) and then the mom was being all nice to him then his dad comes in and yells "HEY HEY you do this? why am I asking? Of course you did this! I Don't Want you pulling stuff apart" and asks what it was then he throws it and yells "Fix it!! Or you're buying another one of your allowence" then he was in his garage (Reed was) and was lookin at his thing he made and Ben Grimm says "What is it?" and Reed says that he doesn't have a name for it. Ben asks well what does it do? and Reed says Ok but you can't tell anyone, then he says promise? and Ben says promise then Reed is like double promise? and Ben says okay, then he says say the words! then he does, then Reed shows his the deign sheet and says "I've been working on this for a while..." Then Reed says I am pretty sure I got it, I think I found another plane of existence. Then Ben is like "A What?" and Reed says that he thinks he has found another demonsion, Another zone of existence. Then Ben is like uh, can I see it then Reed says "It's right here." Ben is like In your garage? and Reed says no no no it's everywhere it's all around us. Reed just keeps going on, and on about this dimension. Then his dad see's him having something explode! and yells at him a bunch and says your f'ing grounded Reed!!, and his mom is saying calm down to Reeds dad. Then 6 Months Later it shows Reed at his science fair it shows Reed telling the people there about his project ''Teleportation'' and someone there is veerryy important and goes to Reeds house and tells Reeds parents about how talented he is, and he says that we works for the Goverment and says that his job is to go around the country and search for kids like Reed. And he says that Public School is a waist of time for Reed and tells them about this school for people like Reed and the mom was like I knew it, I knew we were raising him wrong! and the guy is like ma'am calm down you did nothing wrong, and the dad is like ya ya ya how much is this? and the guy says actually we'd be paying you, so that dad was all happy and was like how much we talkin?!? and the mom was like would we be able to visit him? Luckily for the mom it's in the same City that they are in : ), Reed over hears all this and is very excited, then the guy takes him to the school for people like Reed (talented) and says this is it Reed Welcome home and it is called The Baxter Building. He meets Dr.Storm and Sue Storm and Johnny Storm (Dr.Stroms kids) and says wow this is fantastic.
I'll post more when I have the time. Obviously the people that already read this comic knows everything I just wrote down, lol. But for new readers for this series they'll know what it was like (the first issue). Please post comments, if u liked it or not, more stuff about the comics and stuff like that!
