How do you create your maps?

I know this is a stupid question but I am wanting to try my hand and go with something. Also, is there any way to download the maps from mrx's site in a smaller or .zip format?

I use graph paper to do an initial rough sketch, then use Photoshop to arrange tiles in a grid sized to official dimensions (24x24; 1.5" squares). A decent amount of free time and persistence keep me going.

There's also the 3-D method. Like custom flat maps, all it takes is time and patience. I've done simple constructions such as building 3D versions of the buildings on the Outdoor Marvel map to be placed over the basic flat version, and I've done highly complex buildings such as the Hall Of Justice from the Superfriends cartoon that required an original map for the reflection pool, trees, and statue that sit before the building. It's all about how much time and effort YOU are willing to put forth. Truth be told, building this sort of thing is actually quite easy. Finding the time and patience to do it with is the hardest part of the endeavor.

I'm sorry this has become such an issue. The .eps files are full rez at 150 dpi. An .eps file holds more image information the a jpg file, thats why downloads are longer, because the files are larger. I will send anyone who emails me direct the .jpg file.

Eps are more practical and cleaner.
