3D Battlefield

I have created a couple of 3D battlefields and I would like to share some pictures with all of you. I will add better pictures as soon as I get them taken. I will also add pics of the other battlefield as soon as I can.

Sweet loking!. I'm doing a silo complex also but I have a missile door open with the missile sticking out some. I'm also doing the FF launch into space.

Nice work. Nice idea for 3D trees. Did you get those on the web somewhere or come up with them yourself?

Thanks for all your comments. The trees are clip art that I found on the web, printed in color and glued to posterboard. The fence was made the same way. I try to make the battlefields as inexpensivly as I can.

I like your trees as well. I build 3D maps too and I've been fighting myself on how to present 3D trees.......and you have solved my dilema. I like how the model trees look, but they take away playing squares from the game board, yours don't!:grin:

I am going to do the same thing but I will glue/mount the base onto a 3/16 piece of foam core so that I can add a shadow of the tree on the ground underneath ( creating the spaces that would be considered hindering terrain more visible ).

Nice work on the maps too!
