Yea I have to agree Ultimate Fantastic Four, is my favorite marvel book currently.

But that could change with Chris Claremont return to uncanny x-men in may.

Amazing Spider-man is a must have for me. JMS has returned the Webhead to what he should be. Ultimate Spider-Man is a very close second. I'm also enjoying Hulk.

New X-Men and Ultimate Spider-Man and of course Silver Surfer

Right now, probably New X-Men.

I'm very much enjoying Thanos, X-Statix, and Captain America as well. Of the four new launches, I'm pretty psyched about Captain America & the Falcon and She-Hulk. I wasn't too fond of the other two.

Mystique and Supreme Power

ArmoredSaint

That'd have to be Garth Ennis's Punisher or the Ultimates.

Hmmm I'd have to go w/ Exiles or Uncanny X-Men. I like the whole alternate reality thing....I really miss classic What If??

Another Ultimate dominated list:

Ultimate F4
Ultimates
Ultimate Spidey

If I'm allowed to count mini-series then JLA/Avengers and 1602 have both been great.

SHE HULK!

Only back one issue so far and back in my heart. Comics will be fun again.

The other top five series are:

Fantastic Four (all three books)
Captain America (both)
Ultimate Spider-Man
Emma Frost

I was a big anti-Ultimate titles person for awhile, so now I'm playing catch up. My current favourite would have to be Ultimates. I mean they made Captain America cool. How crazy is that?

Grant Morrison

I feel Dan Slott wrote a clever piece for first installment of She-Hulk.

I have high hopes that this will become my first choice from Marvel.

The first volume of She-Hulk was a bright moment for Marvel in the past two decades.

Captain America is cool. It sounds like you may not have read his own title in some time. Ultimate Cap is not all that different from regular Cap.

The difference is the current regime at Marvel is no longer afraid to let both Caps deal with real issues in the world now. Instead of trotting over simplified nazi stories over and over.

Check out the new Cap and Cap & Falcon. I think you will be surprised.

Volume 2 of She Hulk was also important. Byrne and Gerber gave us some food for thought on where the industry was going, and their theories have been borne out. Also when you read all the issues together, you see that Byrne was actually showing how a story is constructed and put together. Almost a how to do comics the Marvel way. Kind of sneaky. As well as giving a history lesson on comics, pulp, sci-fi, and good girl art genres.

You're probably right about my assessment of Cap. I hadn't read anything with him in it since the Onslaught crossover and I'll admit, my opinion of him is a bit dated. Any TPBs you'd reccommend?

I also want to throw in that I LOVE Marvel Age: Spider-man. This is the way Spider-man: Chapter One SHOULD have been done.

Thanos, you gotta love the big purple guy. And I know that you asked the current fav. Marvel title...... but as I read both, I think it only fair to say that there are many DC titles out right now that are hands down better than the big M's titles. Like Teen Titans, Outsiders, BOP, Superman Batman. That is to just name a few. Soon I'm sure it will swing back the other way, but right now it's all about DC. IMHO of course.

IM gonna have to say 1602, best i have read in a while!
Second would have to be any of the Mangaverse series.

Punisher MAX by far. Three issues in and already it is established just how badass Frank Castle really is.

I'm a DC guy, but I do read one Marvel (MAX) series, which is one of my favorite books right now.
