Yep, it's official... found out from friend Terry Beatty (the inker) at the Chicago Comicfest that the Batman Adventures title based on the continuity of Batman The Animated Series is ending soon.
The powers that be are canning it, despite rave reviews, to bend to the new Batman cartoon due this fall... Like the series, they want a more toy-friendly comic.

The BEST and most sonsistent Batman comic on the stands has been shot down. This new cartoon better be good... but the word at the con wasn't too positive. WAY too much a toy commercial. We'll see...
