Well, looks like I've been let go. I'll still be on the forums, but I won't be goofing off as much as I normally do :) I'm looking on the bright side, as I'm not in the job that caused all the stress and self doubt that lead to my panic attacks. Like I said, I won't be posting as much as I look for a new job. The boss actually fired me becuse I captured his Kingdom Come Superman on his first click with my Sentinel...:)

Good luck in your search Shin! I hope you get employed doing something you love...
.....eww! I just had a bad mental image of Shin-Goji and a bunch of Sentinels.
......you captured his Kentucky Fried Superman on its first click... with your Sentinel.
Man, you DESERVE to be unemployed...:p

We'll see what happens. I felt the firing was totally bogus, especially since my boss let Superman get based by my Sentinel :) I'm sure something will turn up...I hear WK is hiring :) :)

I will hire you! I need a secretary!
Of course, you would be paid badly and treated even worse...but you could sleep on my arm-chair and play with the Ozzy Osbourne action figure I glued onto a Sentinel base.

Aw man! I knew I should have taped last week's Apprentice! :p
I was let go about a month ago. I cried for two days and then it turned into hate, then finally I just said it's time to move on. As I reflect upon this last month, I really do see it as a blessing in disguise (you will hear this phrase at least 3 times a day from friends and family, but it's true).
I am much happier now, and doing some freelance work to pay the bills. Even trying to hook up with this girl (which I know is a bad ideas since I can't spend too much money, but she's worth it). Never had time to do many things I wanted to do because my job was so stressful and had to work many hours. My advise to you Shin-Goji is watch the spending (reduce the spending on clix), eat tons or Ramen noodles (from Costco or Sam's Club) until you can land another job.
My advice to all those who still have jobs, is to update your resume now, and if you are a designer like me, update that portfolio while you still have the money for printouts and etc. It seems that in today's economy, no one is really safe.
Shin - I started a job hunting thread a while back (I think it's dead now). I'm leaving the Navy (after 8 years) in a couple months, and I have done some very extensive research and preparation. Right now I'm in the interview stage and have some exciting prospects, but don't know which ones are going to pan out. The point is, once you prepare for the process of finding a new job it's a lot easier. Let me know if there's any info I can provide you.

things are looking up in the economy for me. Everyone loves inexpensive farm fresh food...
Wow I never saw so many folks spend money last year.
Wait ...at Walmart I never have seen so many folks in long lines forking out huge amounts of cash/credit for tons of stuff.
I have never seen the economy so good with folks spending like crazy...
Am I the only one or is about half the folks you know buying a new home? Where is all this money coming from since everything is made in China?...Who is paying taxes except the corporations since most folks get their tax money back at tax time that I know??
peace
