Well for a piece that can fit on pretty much any team my pick is Nu'bia... but darn it all if I didn't almost vote for Mr. Bones...

Ultrahumanite is the ultimate support piece. Pound for pound I like Nu'Bia better do to the damage dealing potential & great mix of powers

I discounted nubia, but she isn't too bad....flurry plus incap kinda stinks, but then again, maybe incapping someone with impervious is better than chancing them shirking damage off or taking none!

i love the KC supes, so he gets my vote, but kilowog is my second favorite of the set. He looks sick, and his stats are awesome for 112 points.

I'll loving working with any one of them, but Magog gets. my vote. I like a non-flyer who can wade through a battle-field.

Magog, like supes has excellent staying power, his attack never falls below an 11!! And he'll be easy to heal at that point

ANd WonderWoman will be my new favorite to use.

SHAZAM! I choose Captain Marvel, but only because he is a personal favorite. I think Superman is the best dial, and several others are very playable. Silver Swan is the lamest, and she isn't that bad....

I actually played the kc superman and magog in a round against mighty Galactus. @$#%$% they really kicked butt. but KC supes had the most impact. Mainly because of the threat of his HSS clicks.

I gotta say Kilowog is my pick. The lovable GL who gave his life to try to stop Hal Jordan? Oh Yeah, he's a hero. But Mr. Bones almost got the vote cause I love manipulative villains. SHAZAM! almost got it too but Kilowog's just the best :classic:

In the Unleashed pre-release, I drew a Bat Sentry and Nu'bia. I didn't field the Bat Sentry, and wasn't really impressed with it anyway (I later traded it and LE Jean Grey away for KC Wonder Woman). Nu'bia was the MVP of my team, and is a great figure for only 69 points. The Charge and Blades was awesome, although I'm sure she won't be as effective in a non-sealed event, which always has more Outwit.

Magog is definitely my number 2, and if I had to rate Uniques by points, he's the number 1. He is just too darn good for 209 points. My team was completely dismantled by him in round two. You put him with Cosmic Boy and a DEO Agent, watch out!

Although a frequent fantasy, Wonder Woman only rates third. The high BCF attack value is great, but I wish she started off wiith something other than Defend for 198 points.

In the pre-release tournament, Batman folded like a card table. He was 188 easy points, but I never played against him. He probably won't stink so much in constructed, since a medic will always be around.

Metallo is cool-looking, but the low defense and having Plasicity instead of Charge makes him easy to deal with...

I don't honestly think the Batman is too good for 188 points. That low defense just kills him. And I really think Galactus would destory him. He's just too weak for what incap/outwit.

gotta put in my vote for Kilowog; just a little disappointed that he doesn't have a higher attack value. Just my opinion, but he did help train Hal and many others.

Hmmmmm.

My answer is, unfortunately, different than it would have been a month ago.

At that time, I would have said Captain Marvel, hands down. But then someone decided that they'd ruin his splash as a Unique by making a figure with the same sculpt and then putting it in a magazine as a buyable piece... thereby insuring that I won't get the same thrill from pulling him out of a booster since I already have four coming in the mail. I know he'll be a little different, but it's just not that cool any more.

I wish WK would just go all the way like they did with PSM Hulk and make the mailaways truly different. <sigh>

Anyway - I guess my answer now would be Wonder Woman. She was a very close second anyway. :)
