After this weekend,I actually like Thugit more than ever.While he has been very vocal with his stance on the whole "Galactus-Gate" he has also been very civil and well spoken,and for 1 appreciate that.
I was one of the first people here to post an "I'm quitting" thread.I made it very clear in my thread that it was not due to the lack of Galactii,but was due to the general madness and rudeness of not only the WK staff but the fans alike.Thugit posted a reply that so far is the only thing to make me reconsider.After all the Galactii threads and bashing of each other we have been doing over the past couple of days,I felt that my decision to quit was justified.
I used to love to come to this site and just gab with people that share the same interests as me(my real friends are too cool for comic books and toys:cheeky:) But with the division of camps here this is going to become a pretty lame forum.We do not always have to agree with each other,but we should at least have the common decency to be civil to each other.
I just wanted to say that while I still can't find it in my heart to support this game anymore,I still think that this site has some of the smartest and coolest posters around.
I hope by this time next week the flames will have died down,And it will be back to business as usual.

Honestly and in all seriousness, I think Thugit is the first online friend I have ever had. I mean I had people I hung out with on evercrack back in the day. But, you really have to respect, if not agree, with anyone who is able to stand firm in their beliefs and opinions with more than Associated Press quotes, or heresay. That is a really rare trait we find today. He never says anything he doesn't mean, and can back up everything he says with more than cussing someone out, though he does do that on occasion.;) Its also nice to know that he will get your back in a heated debate, and he knows I will always get his. I am of the opinion that thugit is good people. If there were a no a*holes clan, I would put him at the top of the list of members(along with a lot of guys who posted here in his defense). Since wrestling seems to be a prevalent topic of discussion on HCR, I will use this correlation:

In my opinion, fans of wrestling don't really hate the obnoxious characters (Ravishing Rick Rude, Ted DiBiase, Jake the Snake, etc.), but honestly anticipate their appearances just to see what these villainous personalities will do or say next. They are exciting and entertaining characters, but fans are compelled to hate them.

Not to say Thugit is obnoxious, villainous, or Jake Roberts--although the "I Love Thugit" Clan may think otherwise, Thugit will never become the master of administering the DDT. However, Thugit does provide entertainment. More often than not, it is because his opinion differs or conforms with staunch conservatism. Although we really aren't supposed to, it's nice to discuss and debate politics and social issues on this site with intelligent parties.

I may have differing opinions, but I don't hate the guy. Like I alluded to, he can be entertaining and witty--sometimes. However, he can be excessively stubborn, making it appear that he refuses to digest alternate opinions: his way or the highway.

But contrary to belief, Thugit is not Hitler or Stalin.

He's just some dude that is apart of a Heroclix community like everybody else here. Moreover, he is one of the more intelligent and humorous ones.

Last Friday at 4 p.m., Mark Wesley, 46, a resident of Overland Park's exclusive Maple Bluff subdivision, heard the sound of "animal-like shrieking" coming from the vicinity of his front lawn. Upon opening his front door, he was greeted by the sight of a pale and shirtless Manson carving a pentagram into his chest with a razor blade.

A deflated Manson remained on Schmidt's porch as she and Alyssa drove off.

Subsequent attempts to provoke outrage were met with equal indifference.

Undaunted, Manson and his entourage stepped up their assault on mainstream American sensibilities. On Tuesday, they arrived in the tiny Detroit suburb of Grosse Pointe Farms, where stockbroker Glenn Binford answered his doorbell to find Manson hanging upside-down on a wooden cross as Ramirez performed fellatio on him.

Other provocative acts by Manson—including dismembering a chicken, bathing in pig's blood, and wearing a three-piece suit of human noses—failed to arouse anyone's ire, instead prompting comments such as "sophomoric," "trite," and "so Alice Cooper."

Manson's lone brush with controversy occurred in Edina, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. An unidentified neighborhood-watch volunteer phoned police after seeing a nude, feces-smeared Manson being led around on a leash by a dwarf dominatrix. Officers arrived on the scene, but let Manson go with a warning for parading without a city permit.

"I could have given him a citation, but I figured, how much harm is he really causing?" Edina Police Officer Dan Herberger said. "I mean, he's just Marilyn Manson, for the love of Mike."

The "Boo" tour was dealt a further blow when Manson learned that Eminem's The Marshall Mathers LP had been banned from all Kmart stores. Manson's current album, Holy Wood (In The Shadow Of The Valley Of Death), is still available.

By Monday, the tour appeared to have lost all momentum. Sources close to Manson described him as "exhausted and discouraged," despite not having even completed the first leg of the three-month tour. By the time he arrived in Hoffman Estates, IL, Manson had resorted to leaving flaming bags of poo on doorsteps and shining a flashlight under his chin to make himself look "spooky." He was ultimately chased from a Hoffman Estates subdivision by a group of bicycle-riding teenagers who advised him to "get [his] chalk-white goblin ###" out of their neighborhood.

On Friday, Manson is slated to appear in Bethesda, MD, where many believe he will bring his tour to a premature end.

I think I figured out to solve the feud between Pirates and Ninjas!

Gather them all up put them into a room and force them to watch Julie Andrews Movies (Mary Poppins, Sound of Music) and listen to The Osmonds until they are all nice and agreeable.

I didn't say he was the greatest. I said that he's the best outwitter in Marvel, and I stick by that. He's got a short dial, average range, and he's front loaded.

Still, he has a good attack, incap, and outwit with 3 damage. I use him quite often in Marvel only games, and it's very rare for him to be KO'd.

He can outwit most charging characters before they get to him, and he can be counted on to give pretty much any figure 4 clicks of damage before they can retaliate against him. When you consider that that's usually at least half of a figures dial, that's pretty nasty.

My current thought is that Whitney Frost is the best outwitter that Marvel has to offer, but she's an LE so I don't know if that really counts.

I will say that the worst I've done with her in play was against a team with the LE of Kraven. Since he had Toughness and Stealth, poison couldn't touch him.

I use Kraven Frequently on my Anti-Spidey teams and he is quite effective, The Problem I have found is he has a HUGE target on his chest, which I find Ironic for a Hunter by the way, and once he is taken down a couple he is usually toast. The L/C helps but if he is the focus of one player's turn he is done.

But I do think that in terms of a playable outwitter he is the best, but as a pure outwit support figure there are better cheaper options.

For 27 points it's hard to argue with R Black Panther. If Whitney isn't the best outwitter in Marvel, I'll say she's my personal favorite.

I used Whitney yesterday on an all U/LE team. It was a CLOSE game which I lost but it was really won by the paramedic. Anyways Whitney deffinitely managed to be a total pain in the butt. Even when she took a hit she managed to crit hit Ronan to knock him back to keep her safe for a while longer.

It was also the first game that I used Sue Storm she was my last piece on the Map and she just couldn't crit hit on a freshly healed Ronan.

Just want to say my best move of the game.

Mystique was blocking LOF to Ronan who had taken beating at this point. Behind him was a Psylocke who had taken a click or two. Mystique was on her 3rd click so out of stealth but has EE.

I flew Madam Hydra (last click) over to sit on the diagonal to Mystique. I then MC'd Mystique to EE on Ronan. Everyone took 2 clicks. Madam Hydra's Enhancement....... If I didn't have Calypso though it would have been a completely different story.

Anyways Whitney did okay by me, not a game breaker by any means but still has some combat value to help her out.

Back onto the original topic, Thugit is a jerk.;) :p
