...or, "How posts of a like type should be entered into the same thread."
So, I know a LOT of people were mad over the weekend, and understandably so. Further, you came to the right place to talk about it, here, on this site, where other like minded people would be available to discuss it with.
However, one think that irked me was that the moment a good number of people got mad and started posting, many acted like the rules and guidelines of using a forum were thrown out the window.
Here's the thing: HCRealms hosts Forums for different topics. Within the forums are threads. Threads are composed of individual posts.
Once a Thread is created regarding a specific topic, that's where all other posts regarding the same topic should go. Each post does not require a new thread that is simply a variation on the theme.
This maxim was not followed, and we end up with a morass of threads, all voices shouting the same ideas, but none really heard. Especially on a hot issue like this one was (or is), these posts need to be concentrated into a few threads, not spread throughout the entire site. By concentrating these posts into a few key threads (for example, maybe one for each day, what have you), the discussion can build upon itself, instead, members that wish to become part of the conversation are tossed to the wind, trying to chase down relevant threads.
This is not the kind of thing you will probably ever get "warning points" for (unless of course you are blatantly spamming, but that's another issue), however, in the future, do not be surprised to see many like threads popping up all at once merged into a single thread. After all, this is the reason we "sticky" threads like "Official Unleashed Pulls Thread" and "WizardWorld LA - Sound Off" at the top of the General Discussion thread. - Thanks

Part II, or..."Welcome to the internet..."
Welcome to HCRealms. Unlike the real world, you will never be judged here by the way you look, how tall you are, what you smell like, how straight your teeth are (or aren't), or any other physical characteristic. On the internet, or more specifically, on a message board, you will only ever be judged by your thoughts and ideas, and how well you convey them via the words you type.
Think about that last part for a minute. You have probably never met most of the people here in real life. All you can judge them by is what they type here. And the same is true for you...everyone else is judging you by what you type here. This is why things like spelling and grammar ARE important, to a certain extent. Your words are all your thoughts and ideas are being judged on. Make them count!
