Anyone else notice how Batman's cape seems to change lengths alot?

Like, sometimes he'll just be standing there and it barely reaches his ankles. But, other times it is like a foot longer and spreads out around him. Then, if he's on a building it's like ten feet long. Wierd

I can't remember the comic, but it was a spoof of Dark Knight Returns, published in the mid-eighties:

I assume you're talking about the newest issue of JLA. All I got to say is it's all in the way he bends his knees.

artists arn't always all that consistant about that. Ankle length capes wouldn't look as good for those rooftop splash pages though
