Yah know im all for tolerance and all that but i dont really care to much for the Intersteller adventures of Kyle Rayner the Green Lantern being interuppted,right in the middle of possiblly rebuilding the GL corps and saving the universe, by a couple chatacers defined by who they @#$% and a full page of them in bed together

Haven't read GL for a LONG time. But how can Kyle be GAY. Didn't his girlfriend get killed when he first got the ring and he went out with Jade for a while?

Kyle is what ... ? Tell me you're kidding. Is this something he discovered about himself while out saving the universe and neglecting Earth?

Did he suddenly see Jade and John Stewart next to each other and go, "Well, Jade, you're nice and all but John's really smokin' hot!"

Please. If this is the direction that they've decided to go with the character after all of the backstory they've had with Kyle and his various girlfriends, I'm actually going to petition that they bring back John.

I mean, sure, Stewart's about as lame and boring as they come. But, I'd rather have that then ignoring and re-writing ten years of a character's history just to suit a particular writer's "message" (especially when it's possibly politically inspired).

Hold on boys and girls KYLE IS NOT GAY. Judd Winick wasn't given that much freedom with the character. And No the guy with the ring is not and will not be Hal. New (old) writer Ron Marz has sworn not to ressurect Hal as GL.

Hopefully this sets some of your minds at ease.

The people who are the ones shouting that other people are intolerant really need to re-examine their own lives. Pull the plank out of your own eye, pal, before you start worrying about the speck in his.

How 'tolerant' are you of his opinion? That's right, you're not. You even stooped to equating him with his logo (Dr. Doom). So, why should he be 'tolerant' of your opinion?

Hold on now, this thread is about the direction of the comic book entitled Green Lantern is taking with its STORY and PLOT. This is not the "Lets question one anothers tolerance level" thread. Can't we just get along as a group of fellow Green Lanterns fans and discuss the comic like civilized folk.

Not to mention I've re-read this a few times and still don't see where anyone said Kyle was gay, just that he didn't like the interrupting of space-battles and the return of the GL Corps for on-earth soap opera. I admit I can see why he feels it disrupts the story flow (on the flipside, I can also see how it could build suspense). Either way I never saw anyone slam gays or accuse Kyle of being a homosexual.

Guess I'm just naive and don't read enough extra into comments.

i feel partially responsible for this... i said that the guy that whoever was saying was hal was TERRI, kyles former assisstant who is gay.(just to clarify :))

If I think something is stupid, foolish, hypocritical, and evil, I'm oh-so-happy to pass judgment on it, intolerantly.

We use to call that "morality" I think...
