Ultimates 13 How long have we been waiting for this???

JLA Avengers book 4 This took a while to come out as well.

Needless to say I was pleased with both issues (with the exception of the sappy everyone gets some ending of the ultimates).


Who do you think would win in a battle, the hulk or thanos?
I just read a book where thanos admits he somewhat fears facing the hulk.

So long they upped it's price to $3.50. How lame was that?

And to add salt on the wound, it was, by far, the weakest final story I've ever read. I loved issues 1-12, but that 13 was 'unlucky'.

Makes me wonder about getting the next run (especially if that 3.50 price sticks).

It was a double sized issue, hence the 3.50 price

And Planetary came out. For me, it knocked the socks off of JLA/Avengers and Ultimates #13.

You just read the "Thanos Quest". Great story! It's too bad that Starlin copied elements of that story over the next two years in the Surfer and Gauntlet runs, but still great stories.

Anything would have blown Ultimates out of the water but you have good taste there friend. Planetary is the best conceptual designed book out there.

well when you draw as many characters on one cover, anyone would get a bad wrist as Mr. Perez did. Im personally looking foward to the Finch & Bendis Avengers. I talked personally to Finch at the LA Con, while i got my kick butt Hulk Sketch,(check my yahoo profile on how it looks) that the Hulk WILL make an appereance in the disbanning of the Avengers. He said pretty much the reason why he did it was that he finally got to draw the hulk, which he said is his favorite comic book. He's also love to draw the comic, but with the way they have both artist and writer jumping to certain comics, Hulk is not one that they want a collaboration done with.
