View Full Version : Is there a trade for Donna Troy's death?

I finished reading the Teen Titans trade A Kid's Game that was released Wednesday. In the story, it appears everybody feels guilty about Donna Troy's death: from Wondergirl to Superman. In fact, Superman even admits partial responsibility. However, I thought Indigo (before she was an Outsider) was responsible for Donna Troy's death. I'm left to assume the death of Donna Troy is an elaborate story involving various characters.

Does anybody know if there is a trade paperback that contains this story?

Thank you.

Not yet, but it will definitely be on the way, either in a Titans trade or a lower priced prestige type collection.

Titans/Young Justice: Graduation Day is the title of the mini-series. The issues, at least the first two of the three, came out in multiple printings.

Check out your local comics store; the individual issues shouldn't be too much more than cover price and should still be fairly available.

Thanks for the info. I'll be hitting the back-issues at my local store unless the trade is going to be released soon. However, DC does take a long time to release trades in comparison to Marvel. However, the Teen Titans and Outsiders trades were released fairly quickly. I guess DC just has it's priorities, and Princes of Darkness ain't one of them.

Yes, there is a collected "Graduation Day" works. As the original mini was a bit tough to find, they soft-cover collected the three issues together into, appropriately enough, a mini-TPB called "Graduation Day". Fairly cheap - about $7 or so - and easy to find.

And, once again, I stand corrected.

Sorry. Only reason I know about it is because I bought it for a friend back in November (for some reason she wanted the pseudo-TPB instead of the three original issues I'd found her  ). Other than that, there was no reason you would've suspected a TPB so soon after the mini-series. After all, as you noted this isn't Marvel releasing TPBs before a series even finishes the story-arc. :)

No apology necessary. I'm usually pretty on top of current comics, but I'm definitely wrong.

You're getting the correct info out there.

Once again (and not the last):

Thanks for the info, Rokk!

Okay, I just finished reading Graduation Day.

While a friend of mine loathes it, I liked it. Obviously, I anticipated the death of Donna Troy. However, I did not foresee or expect the death of Omen; had to re-read the panels multiple times, it was surprising: Oh my gosh, did she really just get her neck snapped? Anyways, I think Donna Troy died valiantly, albeit at the hands of a Superman android. However, I wish Donna's funeral would have been more elaborate in the comic. In addition, does anybody think there is feasible room to bring Donna back to the DCU? Apparently, she is still alive in another world. Last question: what are the whereabouts of Argent and Tempest?
