Hottest DC Babe?

I was having an interesting discussion with some friends today, while reading some comics. Somebody brought up the fact that some character was hot (Wonder Woman, I believe), and I responded by saying "Yeah, but she'll never be as hot as her!" pointing at another character (Scarlet Witch, it was JLA/Avengers).

So I'm interested. Who is the hottest DC babe?

Don't be shy, keep in mind that comic books are drawn to be like the real world, so think like I do, and imagine comics to be pictures of real events, and real women.

I'm debating on my vote here. WW is obviously a good vote, as is Huntress. Supergirl is looking real good in Superman/Batman. I'm on the fence here.

I definitly do prefer Scarlet Witch on the Marvel side of things more than any DC babes.

I MUST go with Wonder Woman, hands down. She's my all time favorite female in all comics. In my book, WW stands head and sholders over the rest.

Powergirl: Excluding Wonder Woman, Powergirl is my favorite. I don't know why WizKids never made a Powergirl HC. S'ok, I'll make my own. I've always thought Powergirl should be the clostest thing to a female Superman counterpart.

I never cared for Supergirl, although Superman is my favorite hero. I like the idea of Superman being THE last son of krypton. I can forgive the occasional Fantom Zone villain. However, I don't care for the idea of a Supergirl (DC has, what, five?) or a Superboy.

I really thing the character of Supergirl, while she makes a good looking action figure, should be removed from DC continuity. Powergirl should be the clostest thing to a Super-female.

As for her origin: I've always thought Powergirl should be half Kryptonian, half Daxamite. That would clear up the confusion of her origin. There are many ways to explain this.

But I will give you that Batgirl 25 and under was very appealing...

My favorites are anything drawn by Ed Benes. Especially Kara Zor-El in the last 6 issues of Supergirl. The current BoP Black Canary and Huntress also fit that bill. (Yeah, the Jim Lee Huntress outfit has grown on me, and now I like it!)

Power Girl is, hawkeye, the blonde haired woman on the JSA team (best comic around also btw). With the white outfit, red cape, and obvious use of super strength applied to keeping her chest up.

Okay, here's my rundown

And in no particular order we have:

--Wonder Woman - Aphrodite herself helped shape this vixen. She's buff in all the right places, and all the right ways. Not to mention regal. She screams class, and I like me a screamer ;)

--Zatanna - I always thought of Zatanna as being a comic version of Jennifer Connely. As JC is a sure-fire drool inducer, JC in fishnets and a tux-shirt? Ouch, baby. Ouch.

--Jade - Something about her green-ness. It's just...intriguing. Plus, she's GL-related, and I gotta support ol' GL. HothotHOT!

--Aphrodite/Laurel Gand - Sweet jeezum crow whatta knockout! Them legs 'till tuesday; the long, luxurious hair; the ample and buxom...eyes. Plus, her relationship with Brainy proves she likes smart over buff, and that helps MY chances considerably :grin: . *Whew* my temperature's all spikin', now. Hey, Legion writers! Bring. Her. Back.

BUT, all else aside, the number 1 hot DC femme has GOT to be...

Power Girl. She's saucy, she's spunky, she's sensitive and tough as nails. She's got a body too good to be true, but too well-chiseled to be fake. She's maybe Kryptonian, which puts you in good with Superman...she's maybe atlantean, which puts you in good with Aquaman - king of the seas...but wherever she's from, we don't want her to EVER leave. No matter how much we love watching her walk away. *sigh* :p

I have to chime in for Power Girl as well but WW supposedly being "into" women as revealed in an wizard interview with the current writer leaves alot to my preverted fanboy imagination-He hinted with her being an amazon she at sometime might have had a relationship with another amazon, since like there are no dudes on themiscriya

Portrayals of Wonder Woman are sometimes inconsistant. Sometimes she's tall and muscular, other time she seems rather svelte.

I'm not saying I like vein-y, over-muscled women, but I've gotten to really like watching women's beach voleyball, gymnastics and world fitness competitions.

Hottest DC Babe? Anyone drawn by Ed Benes (ie: Birds of Prey).

Black Canary with her hair pulled back into a ponytail? Hot. Way hot. Shoulda-been-played-by-Kate-Beckisale hot. Because of Benes' art (and for that reason alone), I'm going to be modding all of my 'Birds of Prey' clix to make them look more like they do in his comics.

He finds excuses to draw his women sultry, but -- unlike many comic artists babes -- they still look completely natural looking hot.

What? You don't believe me? Pick up the latest BoP comic and look for Huntress talking on a cellphone about midway through ... you can't miss it, she takes up half a page. That is a completely natural pose for talking on the phone, but it's drawn from a perspective that shows a true appreciation for the female form.

Honorable Mention: Michael Turner's new Kara Zor-El. If you haven't seen her yet, you're missing out.
