View Full Version : Cable/Deadpool
Finally, two of my favorite charecters in one book. After the butchering of their own titles, I was glad to see them together. I love the fact that they kept Udon on board. Now if we could only get the Taskmaster to sign up. He was pretty good in Agent X and his mini series was awsome.

 shoot im late!
Life is good. The Poolman is back. Now he even has a staightman to play against. They'll be the Abott and Costello of comics.
The first issue was hillarious.
is Gail Simone on the title?
No. It's the return of origianal Cable and Deadpool scribe Fabian Nicieza. I will miss Simone too, but don't worry. Fabian knows what he is doing.
Gail is busy playing in The DCU right now.

i got the first issue and it's great. not much went on yet but it should get more exciting. anyone know how many issues is planned?
It is an ongoing series. Keep in mind Marvel cancels any book that falls out of the top 100 sales bracket though.
So if you want the book to stay around make sure you buy it instead of waiting for TP's.

well it should do well, they are both fan favorites...the art is great, writing looks good so far, i hope it last for a long time. i actually like the way they look on the cover better, but that's not a big surprise, covers always look better than the inside. i think the cover makes them look tougher, less cartoony.
Better be careful. Admitting you like Rob Liefeld might get you stoned in the streets these days. LOL!
If you do like Liefeld, I hear he is supposed to be working on the return of X-Force book.
While I'm not his biggest fan, I may check it out just because Domino is in it. She's cool, and her mini last year was very good. Liefeld has some anatomy issues from time to time, but when he doesn't rush he can sometimes surprise. At least it's no worse than the new Anime as substitute for real drawing craze that has overtaken us recently.
