ok. i need to know if this is true about this ability. first of all when a teammate of yours dies and is next to the ss team ability. you roll a 6 side die and subtract two. it says that the lowest you can get is one when healing. so is that true. if so then how are you supposed to beat him. espescially if the player has other wildcard team abilities. Answer me please!!!!!!!!

Destroy the non-SS pieces first before damaging anyone with the TA, so the healing is wasted (and you're not wasting time damaging someone who's gonna be healed). Or, you could just find ways to keep people separated (TK, Force Blast, etc).

Has to be the most expensive TA ever... well aside from SuperEnemy :)

Or focus your attack on the SS character first. They can't be healed if they're KOed

uhm, take out the suicide squad member first? Either that or work on them one at a time until their KOed..?? Not saying it'll be easy, but it's not impossible to overcome. It's that darn Dr. Doom and Annihilus that'll be hard to take out. :)

I just played with my V Killer Frost, and thought I had a good chance because of the SS team...He went straight for her, and bloked my figs from getting to her in time, I was wasted.

Answer me please!!!!!!!! If I’m understanding this correctly, you may be misreading the way the power works. If a character adjacent to a Suicide Squad member is KOed, you heal the Suicide Squad member a number of clicks based on the result of that roll. You don’t heal the ally – they’re KOed, and they stay that way.

I belive the SS team member ability is able to "ressurect" a KO'd friendly character if they are KO'd while next to this person. That is how I read it, anyway.

No, DEFINITELY no ressurecting ko'd pieces. The SS member is the one that heals. Neither of the characters that currently have it are especially tough or long dialed. Kill them first, then they can't heal and any wild cards around can't use the ability. I don't know how useful the ability will be, to easy to work around. I'd probably pair up a SS member with a heavy hitter. Gives your opponent a tough choice. Do they go for the SS member and leave your Thor/Supes/Surfer etc to go unscathed for a while or do they leave the SS member alone so they can at least can heal when your big piece finally gets taken out.

Ok. The way it is worded is difficult to understand. If the SS emmber is the one that gets healed, that is not really very good.

I could see maybe pairing up someone like E/V Killer Frost with LE Supergirl. Supergirl's deep dial paired with Frost's Barriers, RCE and dual incap could be useful on a team. Add in some pogs, and you've got a nice battery to keep Supergirl going while she wades into the fight.

Yeah, I agree that the SS team member is the one who receives the healing. The extra text on the WK site describing the team ability talks about how you could place weakened figures or bystander pogs by the SS member, push them to KO, and have the SS member healed so they outlast enemy characters. It's in the January article that describes the SS and KC team abilities.

As for getting around it...well, it's one of those abilities that gives a big bullseye to the bearer, kind of like the Superman Enemy team power. But, every figure will be a target for one reason or another at some point in the game. :classic:

thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thank you all!!!!!! this will clarify everything for me. but if a wild card is next to the suicide squad and the ss member is killed then can the wild card still use the ability?

I'd say yes simply because that you can heal a wild card when a Fantastic Four is killed, but that is just a guess. (Also, you give the Wildcard one ability per action. If you declair the WC a SS on the action that kills the SS member, the WC should keep the ability long enough to use it.)

It's funny because the synble for the SS is a target.:)
