I'm sorta new at this clan thing, and if there's a similar clan, I apologize, but anyways, let's try this out.
This is the Capcom/SNK clan. As you know, Capcom and SNK are together now, so that means the greatest fighting game characters are under one roof now. Basically, you can choose to be a Capcom or SNK character. I'll start us off. I will be Geese Howard, the baddest villian ever seen in a fighting game.

Click on the button that says "User CP." Then click on "Edit Profile." Then, just scroll down to "Signature," and type in something like "Terry Bogard of the Capcom/SNK clan." You can also add a funny quote or something else.
Oh, and one thing Terry. The Buster Wolf may be powerful, but it's no match for the Deadly Rave.

Anyways, let's start some discussion here. Did anyone play the first Capcom vs. SNK? I have, and I liked it, but I had some things about the game annoy me.
1. Certain characters were a pain in the butt to deal with if they were in SNK groove. In that groove, when your life is lowered to a certain point, you can do unlimited super moves. Characters like Ryu and Terry would throw their super moves back to back to back, and they wouldn't give you a chance to react.
2. Ryu's jumping low kick countered EVERYTHING. No matter what you threw, he could just jump up and throw the low kick to stop you.
3. Certain characters like Guile and Chun-Li were useless.
Other than that, the game was excellent. I liked how you could choose how your super meter builds up, and I liked the tier system, where a character was given a tier rank. You had four slots, and whatever tier the character you chose was, they took up that many slots (For example, "boss" characters like Rugal and M. Bison took up three slots. Characters like Terry and Iori took two slots, and characters like Blanka and Yuri took one slot).
Plus, if certain characters faced each other, there would be a different opening sequence (If Ryu and Ken faced each other, rather than do their normal poses, they would tap fists and jump back into fighting position). Plus, there were EX mode characters, which were more powerful versions of a character (Regular Sakura couldn't throw Hadokens. EX Sakura can). All the small things made the game really enjoyable.

Caocom vs SNK 2 was one of my favorite fighting games. My favorite opening was between Iori and Kyo

An, I also got dibs on sayin SNK vs Capcom Chaos is pretty much ### compared to the Capcom vs SNK games. I like some of the new people they added in, but in general the gameplay n such isn't all that hot.

That reminds me. At the elementary school I went to, we'd get into arguments all the time over whether the Capcom or SNK fighting games were better. Most of my friends were Capcom fans, but I was an SNK fan. Seven years later, we get back together, and we're hanging out in an arcade. We see a Capcom vs. SNK game, and I said, "Remember how we argued over whether Capcom or SNK was better? Well, now's our chance to find out." So basically, one of us would play a Capcom team, while the other would play an SNK team. In the end, SNK beat out Capcom. It was kinda cool after arguing about it in elementary school to "find out" which side was better.

As for "chaos" it's a good classic 2D fighter with advanced game play! oh your throwing a ####py fireball -block/step through- then - GYSER CANNON!! gotta love it!! plus it has DIMITRI from Vampire Savior (dark stalkers) and ZERO!!

Seeing as how you were nice enough to join my clan, I'll throw my hat in as well. I'd like to be X, from Megaman X fame.
My fighting game skills have pretty much deteriorated to nothing. But, I've played Megaman X 1 so many times, I can pretty much pass the game blindfolded.

Never been a fan of Capcom Vs. SNK.
However, I've always had an affinity for Street Fighter Third Strike. Moreover, I've had the privilege of knowing and playing against some of the best Third Strike players in the world--US players, at least.
Ah, seems like that was back in the day...most of the good players don't touch Third Strike anymore--well, not as frequently.
I'll join, I'm gonna have to go with my favorite Darkstalker, Baby Bonnie Hood.
Commenting on SVC Chaos, the bosses are a *****, Shin Mr. Karate.... I hate him with a passion!! But Shiki and Demitri are awsome. Just wish it had more characters.
On another note what does everybody think of Marvel pulling thier license from Capcom, and going to EA. It's a bad move.. No MVC 3 :cry: The only thing we have to look forward to is Sammy vs Capcom now, and maybe, just maybe DC vs Capcom.

Marvel pulled the license from Capcom? ####, that sucks. And I heard that MvC3 was going to have 100 characters in it. I guess it's just a dream now.
And yeah, the bosses in SNK vs. Capcom are really tough to beat. Fights 4 and 7 are between you and a hidden character, and sometimes, the hidden character is a tough SOB. Like Goenitz. He would keep on throwing up wind walls and not let me get close to him.
Oh, don't get me started on him. I dispise him.

Hah, I always rock 3rd Strike on the greatest system for fightin games ever, the good ol Dreamcast. Got my Agetec arcade stick, got all the best fighters both american an import....I love my DC :classic:
And of course, PS2 catchin on a few years late is bringin out 3rd strike this year....they slack with MVC2, CVS2, an now this...tsk tsk.

Did anyone ever play the SNK vs Capcom Card Clash games for Neogeo Pocket? Always wondered how those were...
Well, since Gouki was already taken (sort of, 'Gouki' is 'Akuma' in the US releases. One means demon, the other devil, and both are in japanese; i have no idea why the change)
I'd like to be Strider Hiryu then.

When i played i fought Dan on battle 4, so i more or less had a free win. But then I had to fight the little Freddy Kruger guy and he beat my ###.

This is probably one of the best fighting game sites I've EVER seen. There's bios for hundreds upon hundreds of characters, and tons more stuff. You can spend hours getting lost in this site with no problem.

I loveed card clash, i have it on emulator. Beating some of the opponents to get cards can be real *****, though. But its fun.

Nice. I play VS. and I have to say those cards rock. Personally, though, I'd make those Naruto cards plot twists. Besides that, these cards rock.
