Lastly, it seems the Masterpiece Weapon replicas are now available, I've seen them at a local shop (though quite pricey, approx $30 US). As well as a Die-cast miniature replica (probably 1:10 scale or something) of Fenrir. As well as the miniature Highwind (FFVII). Those were slightly more expensive (approx. $35).

Thanks for the warning about Hobbyfan. I hate to post a link to a stinker, it was the first picture I found. I am a HUGE Castelvania fan. I suspect that there will be a delay for those figures (still waiting for Gwar figures that were suppost to be out in May). I wonder if Succubus was have undies on? I don't think she was wearing any in SotN.

Nice find Sab, admittingly I'm not a fan of the Hasbro line up, but.... that's gotta be one of the best FF line ups I've seen in a long time (or ever)... Sue could use some improvements... but overall better than the Legends Invis (at least from pre-lim stock photos).

As I'm sure those of you may know, FFIV is being remade (just like FFIII) on the DS, scheduled for a release early next year in Japan, so we can see that likely mid year '08~

FFVII: Advent Children Play Arts Series 2 (Yuffie, Reno, Kadaj) should be out this month in Japan, so I expect it to be picked up by Diamond in a few months time.

Back to the gaming side, 2 new characters have been revealed for FFXIII and FFvsXIII, however no info's really been detailed on them, other than the fact that there's a boy/girl for each. (The guy for FFXIII was revealed way back, I believe I mentioned it in an old post long ago, the girl however a redhead, is new.) For FFvsXIII, the girl is a blonde in a white blouse/black skirt, and the guy is blonde wielding what looks to be a sawed-off shotgun.

FFTA2 has been released in Japan on the DS (just a week ago), and FF:Crystal Chronicles has been out for a month or so I believe, so we can expect that one down the road. But first will be FFXII: RW which should be out this month (November).

P.S If I didn't mention it before, SqueEnix has announced that FFXIII and FFvsXIII will be PS3 exclusive, however other Fabula Nova Chrysalis titles may be on 360 in the future.

Whoops, forgot to mention those.. the JP retail prices are always higher, cloud/daytona is listed as 10000 yen which is roughly $100. So you can bet it'll be around $70-80ish probably from Diamond, the other figures will be approximately the same price as previous Play Arts figures. As for the Creatures those are probably entirely variable, I haven't seen any direct correlation to the JP prices yet..

The only thing that really bothers me besides the remaking is the FFVII over-exposure.. I'd seriously like to see the other characters from the other sets i.e Quistis, Laguna, Zell, Seifer, or more importantly, Rikku, Lulu, Wakka, Kimahri. But if they're going to go back and remake any particular game line, I'd like to see more of FFX-2, since the original line were of smaller scale (YuRiPa). I wouldn't mind direct remakes of those in the higher quality/larger scale, but a Songstress Yuna would be great, or even the lesser 'knowns', Samurai/Thief (rrowwww), Saikikka, O'MatsuriShi.

I'm definitely looking forward to Aeris though, been waiting for that one.

Also, I just double checked, FFVII:AC line 2 should be out at the end of this month (November), the game figures should be out in December (though Daytona is listed as February).

Those masterpiece (1/4 scale) figures reminescent of Sideshow Collectibles' Premium Format figures should be coming out at the end of the month too, retailing at a whooping $399 a piece (only ones so far are FFVII:AC Sephy, Cloud and FFXII: Judge Gabranth).

Here is the list, I think. This list isn't 100%, as I'm sure Balthier is taken, as well as a few others. I myself would have no problem with you choosing a Non-Disney KH character as your identity. Those games got us FF heads through some pretty dry times. Plus the FF fan service in those games was pretty sweet (Cloud and Squall back to back? Come on!).

That's the first of that I've heard also Sab.. but from what I recall Ultimecia possessed Edea, and then proceeded to possess Rinoa, is that what you're referring to? Mind you, this could be extra info extracted from ULTIMANIA, much like Zanarkand being described as being placed above Mt. Gagazet in FFX...

Keeping with the discussion. Don't click on the links if you don't want to know the ending.

Ultimecia is a sorceress from the future. Rinoa has sorceress potential, meaning she could become one in the future. This gives the theory a little merit. That bothers me a little. My sweet Rinoa a villain I just killed... kinda. The ending is so confusing with the flashbacks where Squall can't see her face. It would be a very interesting "Dark Empire" -like story. I guess I'm just too much of a old fashioned happy ending kinda guy to not have that bother me.

The second clip isn't quite as convincing. If you go back and watch the full version from the ending, there are shots of Edea and Seifer in there, too, and Rinoa's not becoming one of them. Oh well. Watch them and feel free to tell me what you think.

Blue Dragon was excellent, I'd recommend it to any Final Fantasy fan. I think it was a lot better then the what the main review sites/game mags said.

I will say this about Lost Odyssey....The boss fights ain't easy. The first one I got owned the first time I faced it, so I ran around & leveled for a few levels then handled it on the second try. The 2nd boss, is also pretty tough, I died the first time & I haven't gotten the chance to level up some more & try again. Personally this game seem a little too tough & a little to much text-reading for my taste (there is a ton of text reading, I like story but man this game has tons). I might trade it in, I liked Blue Dragon better.

Like there won't be anybody (myself included) who won't repaint that one into Morrigan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morrigan_%28Darkstalkers%29).

I finished the 1st disc of Lost Odyssey....I've figured that the game takes a little patience & leveling up for the bosses, but I've gotten better at them. The last 2 I beat on the 1st try. Liking the game better & glad I didn't trade it in. I will say though they really made the story a tear-jerker. Don't wanna spoil any of it, but a lot of the memories are sad & there is one main story part of the 1st disc that is very sad. Quite the change from the mostly "happy/funny" (or at least no real tear-jerker scenes) Blue Dragon.

Hey guys.. long time no see...

For those of you who don't know/don't care, Crisis Core is out now for PSP, as well as Crystal Chronicles: Rings of Fate for DS. In figure news, Cloud+Hardy Daytona has been delayed indefinitely (probably until June, with the release of Series 2 of the FFVII: Game version Play Arts figures, which include Sephy, Vincent, Red XIII + Cait Sith and our resident favorite ninja girl Yuffie).

P.S For anyone interested in the trailer music for FFvsXIII feel free to ask me, as it is now available (without the background noise/SE) :)

Oh.. and since we're apparently "not a clan" anymore, I'll also revert the DOA news here as well. (Semi related is) the release of Ninja Gaiden 2 is imminent! Its due out next month.. so perhaps a DOA5 will be next in line for Team Ninja (which just released Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword on DS in North America).

Also related is DOAX2.. if any of you recall the Ayana PVC statue pictures I posted earlier.. Tina, Lei-Fang and Hitomi have also been announced, for May/June/August respectively. If you'd like to see some photos head on over to:

1. the "weapon" started to rise from the ocean and attacked the Juno Cannon but in the end the weapon ate the cannon's shell that was one wicked way to kill a bad ### monster -FFVII

2. the 1st time i battled Diablos to gain control of him it was one of those GF's that's really awesome! - FFVIII

3. playing as Cloud in FFT twas really nice seeing him in there with my party ^_^

Not FF related, but Lego Indiana Jones came out yesterday. I picked it up for Xbox 360 & played through the first few levels. Lots of fun so far.

I did manage to Pre-Order Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 for Nintendo DS which comes out at the end of the month.

Anyone else get Lego Batman? It's quite fun I beat both Story modes now it's time to go into Free mode & collect all the extra stuff. Got 3 games that I am getting this month: Fable 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour & Fallout 3. Gonna be an expensive but awesome month for gaming.

Dissidia is awesome, been playing it for a couple of weeks now. Great animation and gameplay. Highly recommend when it comes this way.

Can the PSP hook up to play on the Playstation 2 or 3?

Is this game 2 player? If I were to get it would I be able to fight against one of you fellow realmsers with it?

Not coming out for other systems. The psp can hook up to the ps3 but not the ps2. It does have a 2 player option.
