Someone told me that Magog was going to make an appearance in the normal universe of DC.

Is that true? What comic is he suppost to be in if it's true?

Well, I saw that Gog, the lame character they introduced in The Kingdom, is about to show up in normal continuity. I forget which Superman book, but he shows up on the last page of one of the recent ones.

Gog had already been a part of the regular Superman continuity. A time-travelling powerhouse who got a sampling of just about every major power in the DCU in his power staff and used it all to travel around to various realities and kill any Supermen he found there.

Wasn't Gog sort of a parody of Cable?

That's how it worked: Magog, who looks sorta like Cable, leads the Justice Battalion and is the iconic leader of the new "heroes" of Kingdom Come, the "heroes" who don't concern themselves with things like minizing collateral damage and protecting innocent people caught in their crossfire, just like the "heroes" of Image Comics' books at the time (1996).

You'd have to be a literary science major to understand all the symbolism in KC, or read the annotations written by somebody who might be a literary science major.
