Warning points

Does anyone know how long it takes to get rid of warning points? Last night I made some comments about a bad trader who was posting teams with figures that he ripped-off from other people and I got a bunch of warning points I thought it would be like 1 point per bad word, but its alot.

It depends on the severity of the warning. The lower level ones will drop off in 90 days. If it's a severe warning, then it won't go away.

At least, that's my understanding of the way it works.

If you want to be sure, I'd PM azs or webhead and ask. They are both nice guys who are usually more than happy to answer your questions (if asked in a nice way ;)).

Anyway... you'll want to take a look at the exact warnings you received.

Level 1 or Level 2 offenses will go away in about ninety days. You'll still see the text when you click "View User Warnings," but the points will disappear.

Level 3 warnings, however, don't go away. This is reserved for the really blatant cases. For example, on you, you were warned about swearing, then went ahead and did it again the next day. Once can be excused as a mistake, but doing it twice (or more) is another matter.
