Where is NYX?

So Quesada turns out the 2nd best book by Marel last year (sorry but Ultimate Spidey is tough to beat), and now it's just stalled.

The Marvel site has shown publishing dates for #4 AND #5 along with covers, but both dates have been missed.

This book was selling, not to mention it was actually very good.

Now Quesada is running off wih his pal and fllow non-finisher of books to do a DD mini? Dropping everything else? Maybe the two of them should run off together if this is the amount of proffesional level to be had.

Maybe they could start their own company called Once A Year If Your Lucky (Sucker!).

NYX unfinished
War Machine 2.0 not by them but also one issue short of being finished

Is this Marvel or the early Image days?

I could see if no one bought the book, but that is not the case. What's worse is the book had something to say, while moronic carp is being churned out on a weekly on schedule basis.

Right on. I've been waiting on the next one of NYX for what seems like forever. I'm a hardcore DC guy, but I loved the first 3 issues of NYX. I really hope that it keeps going. Or at least if they're going to drop it, let us know so we don't have to keep wondering.

Seriously, NYX is the only comic that I buy that isn't related to the Fantastic Four. I agree about what Croaker said about it seems as if it has been forever since it came out. They need one soon!

If I remember right, the last NYX came out on December tenth. This means issue four is almost four months behind. I debating on whether I will even get the next issue when it does come out. I don't want to be waiting around another four months for issue five.

I believe it's late due to Middleton (the artist). As of issue 6 (i believe, maybe sooner) the book will have a new artist. Middleton just eleased the cover art for #6.

#4 should come out... soon.

It's not cancelled just super-delayed.

Let's just say that NYX is ... um ... trapped in time due to the main character not having command of her powers just yet.

Maybe they are trying to work in Morrison's Magneto Storyline? Sadly, his end-run seriously screwed up both NYX and New Mutants, and probably messed up the Mystique book too. I haven't read any other mutant books in the MU, but I'm guessing that they (and the Avengers, Spider-Man, etc.) have some major ret-conning ahead of them.

If only the Exiles could have popped in to fix that storyline...

Um... you can see the occurances of Prof X. being out in Mystique. Remember... he was busy and couldn't show up this time... and Forge just plays it off like no biggie.

NYX is just delayed .... well because they are Marvel and they get delight out of delaying things that are good and sell well.
