Ok, this issue shows a lot(actually that would be an understatement) of tension. First off we see Wolverine and Prof. X in a Shield Heli. flying to the Genosha to have Magneto buried. This book is more dialogue then action, but there is action. As they land, their met by Fury who pretty much tells X that he's put off by the whole idea of having Magneto buried and that, "You can't even convince me that he was human being. You can't even convince me he was even human excrement." After that little altercation, Fury gets in the helicopter after Mags body is taken out and gets in the heli, "My orders were to bring you here! didn't say anything about a return trip! My little form of protest! Good luck getting home!"
After that were brought back to New York with She Hulk Juggy and White Queen pulling bodies out of the rubble on Liberty Island. Like usual, White Queen is making fun of Juggy about how much destruction that he used to cause. But Now that Juggy is a good guy, he feels his strength might crush the victims below. We find out that most of the superheroes in the area are helping yet again with the destruction of New York (as i say that, im surprised that Marvel was allowed to destroy the Statue of Liberty, especially after 9/11). Then we get to see a full splash page of the destruction of the statue and most of new york.
Back to Genosha, Wolverine and X are having the funeral. Before Prof. X can even get a word out, Wolv. pretty much tells him not to even begin. Or even give a eulogy for him. Finally were able to see what Logan really thinks of mags after his death. He brings up all the people he as killed. Then Logan kicks over his coffin exposing the body bag with Mags body open. Logan tells X that he has to remember that he killed hundreds in New York, tried to kill Hank, Scottie, Emma and himself, and that he took down Xaivers school. But most of all that he killed Jean. The entire time Logan has his foot resting on Mags body. After that said, a group of mutants approch Logan asking, "Is that magneto's body? Wolverine doesn't respond. I asked a question hairball! Are you standing on Magneto's body?" Then we get a full face panel, claws drawn, Logan says, "You bet i am bub. Got a PROBLEM with that?
Back to New York, we see Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch, and Poloaris (thank god their using her again HOT BABE) we find out that.....shes THEIR SISTER.
Back to Genosha, logan is now brawling with the mutants as usual logan is laying the smackdown on their candy butts. Theres the huge statue of mags that was erected (don't know when im just jumping on here) wolverine says, "Let me make it this a clearer!!! I have no respect for magneto! and i never did. Magneto was a terrorist...a bully and a hypocrite! a murderer of women and children who laughed over their dead bodies while demading tribute! Ill show you the only tribute he deserves!" with that said Wolverine pops his claws stickes them into the head of the statue...and from top to bottom claws his way down the stature slicing it open like a sardine can. we see it crumble to the ground.
then we see the pitiful Toad saying, "your a dead man logan!" Logan comes back with a quick one, " Your not even a match for Artie when he's sick with the flu. LOL then toad whips out his tougne and it wraps around logans neck. then logan says, "hey does this grow back?" and slices his tougne off. then at the end, Poloris, Quick, and SW show up just in time to stop logan, with Poloris saying, "Allow me to be the "devil's advocate."
Over all, the story was great, I don't care much for the artist though. I don't know if its his art or the coloring in the comic. Kinda reminded me of the Valiant days. But this comic was much more character driven, with not a lot of action but the dialogue itself was very good.
