Aliens are the coolest part of Comics and Heroclix. You can be anybody form any Universe. The first to reply will be Vice President. After that, make an offer for a position. I don't plan on this clan being in the war between Heroes and Villans. I don't care what side you're on, this is just ment to be a fun clan that anyone can join for a fun time. I would probably use Cap. Marvel over Thanos. That way you have 3 Running Shot figures, and I think Captain Marvel is a better deal. But, not everybody is lucky enough to have Mar-vell.

This clan isn't doing alot so I'm going to thorw out a topic: What comics do you read and why?

To the newbies; Read the first post to get to know the Clan rules. Many positions need to be flled, they go as follows:

Historian: Knows atleast the basics about Comic history and can answer comic related questions.

Clan Judge: Can answer clix disputes.

Recruiter: Preferably, a member of alot of clans who can get people to join.

Diplomat- someone who likes to deal with other clans and approach their leaders for alliences.

Nightwing is an incredible comic. Birds of Prey is fantastic as well. JSA is consistantly the best thing coming out. I had unsubscribed to Green Lantern, but am picking it up again now that there's a writer that doesn't stink. I recommend Flash as well, phenomenal stuff over there.

On the Marvel side of things, Ultimates is tops, easily in the top 3 comics coming out. Avengers is good, and my second favorite team. Daredevil is OK.

I'm thinking of picking up Legion. Anyone out there recommend it?

I've only recently gotten into reading comics. Playing HeroClix facilitated this. The stuff I like to read is the DC Elseworlds titles. They put an interesting spin on some of the characters. I have really enjoyed all of them and Kingdom Come is, of course, the best. Watchmen is an excellent read too. I just finished Marvel's 1602 and that is an awesome story too. I didn't particularly care for the ending, but each issue kept me wanting more. That's all I have to say about that.

As far as comics go, Watchmen is on top of the pyramid. It is the most finely put together work in history (comic book history).

I highly, highly recommend JLA: Year One. What a great story!

It was a good story, something was kinda distracting about it. How about for marvel? I really liked Seacrect Wars (the first one) Avengers forever was good too. Thanos: Celestial quest (something like that, not the Avenegers thing, the one with Spider-man) was all right. How about creators? I got some favorites in that department too:

Hey guys, Ive have been keeping uup to date on this clan but it appears know one else has either. I wanted to get another topic snowballing, so I decide to play a pass the story game. I'll start the battle between two people and I'll leave it off after awile. Anyone can pick it up and do what they want with it. If you end one battle, have the winner face another opponent but make it intregal, don't just sart a new story. I'll start with a four on four match with the Fantastic Four facing Magneto and his three children (just because its random. Also, this is assuming that Magneto survived the recent story arc).

"I believe thats the last of them" Reed bosted as he aided Ben in tying up the members of the Brotherhood that they captured.
"It's a shame that that bucket head Magneto wasn't here. I reallly wanna teach him a thing or two about messing with New York" Thing growled as he wrapped a lamp pole around Toad. As he bent it, he felt it growing harder and harder to minipulate. " What's wrong with this thing?" Thing gasped as the lamp post fought back.
"Nothing, its just that 'Bucket Head' making your life difficult."
Thing glanced up to find Magneto hovering above him. His attention shifted and Magneto seized the opportunity to make the post sping back and intwine the rock man.

"Ben!" Jhonny thought as he flamed on. He started towards Magneto, but suddenly found his flame put out.
"Wha-?" Jhonny was caught in mid-sentance by a flurry of fists too fast to see. Blood began to seep from the cuts on his face, He tried to Flame On but the words were lost. Suddenly, the blows ceased. He opened his eyes and through the crimson haze he saw Quicksilver standing in mid run, as if he'd hit a window while swooping in and out from Jhonny. 'Good old Sue' he thought with pride. But his emotions turned to horror as a burst of red energy exploded and the improbable happened, The Invisible Woman became visible. Before being able to hide again, a dumpster spilt into a thousand little peices and wrapped Sue in a metal cocoon.
As the Maximoff sisters took out Sue, Mr. Fantastic pryed Ben free, only to have a near buy Volkswagon hurled at him. His flexible body eaisily dodged it, and it fell harmlessly to the ground.
"I'm impressed Rhichards." Magneto mocked. "But I wonder how long you can keep up with the Master of Magnatism. Especialy with your friends in danger." He pointed to the other end of the alley where the Maximoff sisters were starting their attack on an injured Jhonny. As much as Reed hated to admit it, Magneto was right. With one teammate down and another injured, The Fantastic Four was at a severe disadvantage.

Seems my favorite alien, Mon-el is still available. He is a Daxamite, similar to Kryptonians. His weakness is lead instead of kryptonite, but he has a serum giving him immunity to it. He is a member of the Legion of Superheroes.

I want to start an interactive game like the Villan clan did early in its existance. Let me know if you want to play, and if you have an idea for what kinda of game to play, I'm working on the assumption of murder mystery, but if you have another idea, run it by me.

Restarting the disscussion part of the Clan:

Which Team Ability is most ignored by wizkids and you think could be done better? As in, which team has alot of key members still not made, and the members that are out arn't playable.

And, Which team has Wizkids built up the best? Has many of its core members out and they're playable together?

For worst: I'd go with Defenders. Hell Cat is nice, but she still dosen't make them playable.

For Best, I'd go with JLA, many great figs to use, very playable on their own.

Avengers has many members, all playable (except Iron Man, too expensive).
I actually like the Titans, because you get away from the big numbered figures, allowing for a good amount of the team to be played at the same time.
