(Not the cartoon Titians) For $9.95, is this a steal? And is it worth picking up by Issue?

Yes, the trade paperback is worth the $9.95 retail cover price.

I recommend.

If you want to collect the issues also, more power to you. I bought the trade first, and ended-up buying issue #1 (sketch cover). I'm also looking to buy issue #7 because I like Bart (don't want to spoil anything for ya).:)

I highly recommend this series. It is solid: great art and story. The price is also nice. I think you'll be impressed!

$9.95 is a great price for a TPB - especially since cover prices of the issues when new ran close to $3 a pop.

I got the TPB...and it's good. I really like the story.

Its one of those comics that I can pick up in TPB's and be happy with because it feels like an episode. I like those kind of books.

Teen Titans has it's problems... namely the same problem every other teen hero book has. They have a conflict with their mentor during the story. Happened with the old Teen Titans, happened with Young Justice and suprise, it happened with New Teen Titans.

But the book is overall superb! Characterization is a little rough (Robin attacking Batman? yeah right!). But Deathstrokes re-emergance (despite degenerating back to his old stealth proof costume) is a nice touch.
