I have a "reading list" request. Can anyone tell me about all the stories (good or bad) that involve major instances of cloning in the DC universe? Preferably the TPB's, because I'm too lazy to buy single issues. If you could, tell me if they're good or bad, and if you really want to, give me a full review and synopsis ( :cheeky: ). That'd be really helpful, thanks very much!

The only one I can think of would be They Saved Lex Luthor's Brain TPB, and of course Superboy Kon-el is a clone of Superman and Lex Luthor. Some other notable characters that were cloned were the Newsboy Legion. Also Byrne did a world of Krypton mini series,(4 issues?) where cloning and using clone body parts to repair damaged people was a major plot in that mini-series.

They Saved Luthor's Brain TPB is worth picking up. Basically the Kryptonite ring that Luthor wore gave him a form of cancer that was slowly eroding his body. He faked his death and had his brain transferred to a clone of his original body, but younger and with a full head of hair. This story reveals how he managed to do this with the aid of Dabney Donovan, an ex-scientist of Project Cadmus. Donovan is the perfect insane mad scientist type who likes to extract DNA of people to make various "failed experiments" Project Cadmus was a project for cloning as well and produced the first DNAlien, Dubbliex. I read the individual issues but the TPB has a cool 50's camp movie style cover to it.
