Green Knight
Chapter 1
"Master Bruce tommrow is a busy day as you know, and you have had a busy night will you be retiring soon?"
The words ring in Bruce Wayne's ears he know's his butler is right,but his mind is racing. Bruce Wayne the man known as Batman has been tracking down a massive arms deal by the local Gotham city mafia. As he sits in his chair in front of his gargatuan computer in the Batcave he replays what happend in his mind. Tonight the mafia hired Killer Croc to at least hinder Batman's pursuit of the deal, and Killer Croc a 7 foot tall Crocidile man took out a chunk of Batmans right arm. Bruce swivels in his chair turning toward the man who spoke to him, Alfred his butler. Alfred seeing his right forearm gasps and comes to his aid.
"Im quite fine Alfred it just needs a few stiches then ill get some rest."
A tired and aching Bruce Wayne replies as he threads a needle through his wound. Alfred takes the needle from Bruce and contiues where he left off."Sir I'll put a red shirt out for you this morning in case its still bleeding, but please be more careful."
"Thank you Alfred but really I can't wear red to the meeting tommrow so go with the blue I just won't take off my jacket."
Alfred nods and replies "Well off you go sir you are all patched up"
In his bedroom Bruce stares out the window it is a clear dark night with just a sliver of moon. He looks down at his arm and touches his wound the pain reminds of him why he became Batmam, so maybe he can stop someone elses pain. Looking up one more time at the stars before he plans to go to bed he sees something abnormal in the sky.A green shooting star shimmering in the night above Wayne Manor.
Chapter 2.
Careaning through the Earth's atmosphere John Stewart also known as the Green Lantern knows he must remain calm and focused. He is trying to use what little power his ring has left to slow his fall and guide him towards his destination. Besides him all but one of the Justice League of America is offworld and that one is his only hope. As he falls he thinks to himself. "Bruce you better be home right now"
Tumbling through the night sky he falls closer towards the city of Gotham he finally sees on the outskirts of town the lonley Wayne Manor. Pointing his ring at the mansion he uses its last bit of energy to slow his desent. He lands hard shoulder first on the front lawn. Bruce Wayne runs out of his home and slides to his knees besides the Green lantern. "John, John are you ok"
Bruce says in a panic. As he looks down at John Stewart he cant help but notice how beat and batterd he looks. His uniform is torn in many places he is coverd in dirt, blood drips from his side, and his shoulder looks seperated. "Dont talk right now John let me get you inside"
Bruce says calmly as he picks up John Stewart in his arms and carries him to the infarmy inside the Batcave. Alfred follows close by and starts looking at his injuries. "Master Bruce he has sevrale broken ribs a seperated shoulder and a from that bump on his head I would bet he has a nasty concussion."
Alfred says as he looks over the Green Lantern. Bruce takes a deep breath and asks. "John what happend why did you come here?"
John Stewart looks up at Bruce Wayne and can barley get the words out but he knows he must. " He is coming here after my lantern he needs the energy, Bruce you cannot let that happen he is already to powerful . I couldnt stop him he absorbed most of the power out of my ring"
Bruce gives a puzzled look "Who are you talking about when will he be here"
"He is pure lantern energy that has achevied sentince, I dont know how he became aware but he is and he wants more energy. That is why he is coming here very soon. Bruce you must take my ring find my lantern and stop this beast."
:" I cant do that John you cant give me your ring"
"If you dont take it the whole universe is in serious jeopardy, its ok the Guardains the ones who gave me this ring told me to give to you. You are our only hope right now."
John stewart holds his hand up and slides the ring off his finger and holds the ring of the Green Lantern towards his friend. Bruce Wayne outstreches his hand and slides his finger through the ring. Intsantly he is no longer in the batcave but in a room in front of a dozen aliens with gigantic oddly shaped heads.
At First Bruce is in dismay then he realizes he is in front of the Gurdaians of the Galaxy the creators of the Green Lantern corps, but he has no idea how or why he ended up here. The Guardian in the middle of the room looks Bruce Wayne over and says "Mr Wayne you are here on Oa the home of the Green Lantern Corps at our beckoning. The creature that nearly killed John Stewart is coming to Earth after John's lantern, should this menace achieve it's goal he could become unstoppable."
Batman stares down the Guardians and asks in a demanding voice "Who are or what are you dealing with."
The guardians look very disgruntled at this question but they answer. "His name was Klemkor he was a Green Lantern over 5000 of your years ago one of our first. He chased a known villian into an area of space in which time moves faster then it moves in our realm. From what we understand, Klemkor died there and was trapped. His Lantern had exploded and the energy wanderd the region aimlessly. Many things tried to use or absorb the energy but it resisted. The green energy learned how to survive it evovled in that region of space and now it has found a way out. It seeks more energy so that it can become stronger. That is how John Stewart ran into the anomaly, it sensed the prensence of his ring and tried to take it."
Batman still looking confused asks another question " John called it him said he was coming why would John refer to green energy as him".
The Guardians turn their enoumous heads to each other then back to Batman. "The energy has taken the image of Klemkor, we dont know if the energy is just copying his image or if it is him reincarnated. Either way you must stop it and that ring you have now will do you no good. For those reasons we are giving you the yellow ring that Sinestro himself wore. The major weakness of the Green Lanterns is the color yellow and it is our hope that the ring once worn by our sworn enemy Sinestro will be what will turn the tide in the battle against Klemkor."
A Guardian approaches Batman and puts the ring in the palm of his hand and tells him "Go warrior of the dark use the weapon well."
"NO"
Replies Batman to a shocked audience.
"I want the yellow lantern too or I will let your greatest fears come to light. I know this place Oa is the home of the greatest amount of Lantern energy in the Universe it houses the great lantern battery by which all your corps must refill their energy carrying lanterns with. And if you do not give me the yellow lantern I will let Klemkor absorb John Stewarts Lantern. Then he will become to powerful for you to stop. Klemkor will come here and abosrb your great battery and he will become one of the most powerful beings in this galaxy.I want the ring and the lantern. "
The Guardians talk among one another then agree to the terms. They hand over to Batman the artifacts they had until now considerd their greatest threat the yellow ring and yellow lantern of Sinestro. Bruce Wayane finds himself back in his batcave as if he never left. He takes off John Sewarts ring and gives it back to him. "John I won't need that, the guardians gave me this."
John Stewart cant believe his eyes he thinks he must be halicunating. "They gave you the yellow ring and lantern. The situation must be more serious then I thought. Im going with you Bruce I just need a rib brace and I'll be ok."
"Fair enough but John you got to show me how to use this ring first then we go get your lantern."
Chapter 3
The Batcave shrouded in darkness has been the training ground of Batman and many of his allies. Never did Bruce Wayne excpect to be learning how to use a lantern ring in its black damp caverns. "Ok Bruce the ring is easy to use it as long as you can focus and think, the ring responds to your thoughts whatever you can think of you can make with the ring's energy. So just point it up there focus and it should come out."
Batman aims the ring into the wide open darkness of the Batcave and the room lights up. John Stewart looks in amazment as a giant yellow glowing batsignal causes hundreds of bats to flee into the oblivion. "see you got it down Bruce its as easy as that."
Bruce turns to the Green Lantern looks up at the opening in the ceiling and before John realizes it the new Yellow Lantern and him are flying out of the cave and into the night sky. "you know I've carried alot of people with my ring before Batman but I never have been carried before its like riding in the passenger seat."
The two heros fly at screaming speeds over the towns below. They know time is short they must prevent the being from getting John's Lantern. "My apartment is right down there my lantern better still be there."
the Green Lantern says. "John get it and charge your ring up then we need to head with the lantern to a unpopulated area. To a place we can fight this being without causing to much damage."
John Sterwart enters his apartment and quicky finds his lantern and gives his ring a charge. Batman opens up a window and flies out and the Green Lantern follows. The window ten stories up leads to a narrow alleyway with the two buildings towering over. Suddenly a green beam blasts the window the two just flew out of sending both men crashing hard into the building on the otherside of the alley. Glowing up above the buildings the green being in the shape of a tall muscular alien with small eyes and a narrow face puts his arms at his side stretches his body out and green lantern energy flows forth toward Batman and the Green Lantern. Batman recovering from the hard knock points his ring at the incoming energy making a yellow shield that absords the energy. "JOHN GO GET OUT OF HERE ILL KEEP HIM TIED UP, GO NOW."
The Green Lantern Flies out above the city leaving a green streak and Klemkor turns to follow him. Batman encircles the being in a yellow ball and shrinks it as small as he can crushing the green being. As Batman pours the yellow energy out of his ring Klemkor Struggles and Bruce cant keep it contained. The yellow energy field burst and the green energy forms a giant whip over two hundred feet long and four feet thick and slings it at Batman. As the whip approches Batman. Batman forms a yellow hand and Grabs the whip, pulls it tight and throws Kelmkor to the ground into a truck hundreds of feet below on the ground. hovering above Batman creates an enoumous anvil out of yellow energy and drops it on Klemkor. As the Anvil falls towards the ground Kelmkor flies up and wraps the anvil in green energy and throws it back at Batman. Just as the anvil leaves the control of Klemkor, Batman fires a yellow beam at the anvil. The Anvil explodes right in front of Klemkor. The blast knocks Klemkor out of his humaniod form. Now Batman is faced with a cloud of angry green lantern energy.
Batman points his ring and fires severale beams of yellow energy at the being. The green energy forms holes in itself allowing the beams to pass safely through as it flies up at blazing speed towards Batman. Unable to react quickly enough the cloud of energy encompasses Batman. Hundreds of fists start sluging Batman. Using the yellow ring Batman is able to make a forcefield around himself to protect against the brunt of the onslaught, but soon he finds himself travling towards the gound like a bullet out of a .45 and crashes through the street and into the sewers below.
Chapter 4
"That over there looks like a good spot."
The Green Lantern thinks to himself as he flies over a vacated beach on the Jersey shore. Landing near the waters edge all he sees is sand, endless miles of ocean, and a rocky cliff far off in the opposiste direction. He stares at the now moonless sky takes a deep breath and tries not to think about the throbbing pain in his ribs. He waits for the coming battle knowing soon he will face the fight of his life, but hes been here before in this situation and so far allways mangages to survive. He looks down the shore line towards New York and sees a green glow approaching quickly. He points his ring above over his head and lets out a enourmous glowing batsignal.
The stench of the sewer is strong enough to make Batman remember why he hates chasing people in the sewer. He gives his ring a charge and shoots out of the underground city streets. Normally a fall like that would hurt alot worse for Batman and he finds himself rather impressed with Sinestors's old ring. Flying up into the air he scours the sky looking for the green monster that flung his body into the sewers, but he sees something else. On the edge of the horizion Batman spots a green light and sees the shape of the bat.
John Stewart did not expect to see a green cloud approaching he was used to the glowing form of the ancient Green Lantern known as Klemkor. Either way he knows what hes dealing with. The green cloud stops not twenty feet before John and forms itself back togerther. "You are the Green Lantern known as John Stewart I am known as Klemkor and I need the energy in your lantern."
John Stewart's pupil's dilate as he is in shock he did not expect Klemkor to speak.
" You really dont expect me to just hand this over to you, do you "
Replied John Stewart as if daring Klemkor to a fight. " NO of course not I have all the memories of Kemkor and many more and I know how you pathetic heros think, but your friend is dead and your ring has no effect on me. Im stronger then you too if you dont hand over the lantern you will die John Stewart."
"Fine then come and take this if you think you can."
John Stewart holds up the lantern in the face of Klemkor. Raging in anger Klemkor rushes after the ring but catches a face full of sand as the Green Lantern uses his ring to create a dust cloud blinding Klemkor. As the infuriated monster uses its power to clear the sand it doesnt notice John Stewart hovering high in the sky with an enourmous green bubble filled with water.Just as the dust clears the bubble of water falls. Over forty tons of water comes crashing down on Klemkor who gets crushed into the sand then washed out to sea. John sees the beast glowing under the waving ovean. Two beams of energy shoot forth wrapping themselves around the ankles of The Green Lantern. John Stewart tries to sever the beams with his ring but soon finds himself smashing into the sand. The beams lift him up again into the sky over seventy feet. Then again he is travaling into the ground. he reaches behind his head points his ring and creates a shield absorbing most of the damage.
Klemkor Laughs as he walks out of the ocean extending the beams further into the sky and prepares to crash the Green Lantern into the rocks ending his exsistence. As John struggles tyring desperatly to sever the beams he feels himself being thrown to the ground below. Klemkor lowers the snares around John's ankles he doesnt notice two yellow batarangs spiraling through the night's sky and severing the ties to John's legs. Klemkor turns towards the sky to see Batman now known as the Yellow Lantern still alive and ready to go another round. Before Klemkor can even react he gets caught by a great burst of yellow light blasting him back into the ocean. Quicky rebounding Kelmkor flies into the air and begins to grow. His body nearly quadruples in size and in his hand he know holds a sheild and a doubled edged ax in the other hand twice the size of Batman.
Batman quicky evades the swings of the ax flying up down and side to side. Then Batman makes his own sheild focusing all his energy on making it as strong as possible. He lets Klemkor hit his shield and the weight of the ax pushes Batman from just above Klemkors head down past his chest. Quicky Batman Slides up under his arm and turns the shield into a sharp katana and the yellow blade cuts through the titan's body. Klemkor lets out a roar in agony as Batman reaches for his yellow lantern and throws it into the open cavity of Klemkor's chest, then he kicks off Klemkor's body and flies far out of the beings range. Batman sees the Yellow Lantern in Klemkor's chest and points his ring at it and braces his other hand around his wrist. A Bright thin yellow beam blasts through Klemkors chest and into the yellow lantern causing it to lose stability and explode.
The foce of the explosion sends Batman flying through the air. A green beam extends from the ring of John Stewart and catches Bruce Wayne then escorts him to the ground where John Stewart stands. "Bruce I think that got him looks like you didnt get a good look but the two energies eleminated each other."
John Stewart says proud of his ally. "Yeah that was the idea John ."
Bruce replies as he takes off the Yellow ring and hands it over to The Green Lantern. "The guardians might want this back John."
"Im sure they will I'll make sure it gets there."
John Stewart looks in amazement at Bruce Wayne as he promises to get the ring back to it's proper owners. "John I got a favor to ask."
Bruce Wayane says as he stares out over the ocean. "Sure anything."
"John I need a lift home I have a meeting tommrow."
"Sure but you might wanna think about wearing a red shirt."

Ok i hope you enjoyed that if not i would really like somefeed back what you liked what you didnt i know im not a good writer but im always trying to get better, and im not too sure of the continuity of the this story so please ignore those flaws im sure there are alot. im looking forward to doing another story with your critiques i hope i can make improve with it

The stench of the sewer is strong enough to make Batman remember why he hates chasing people in the sewer. He gives his ring a charge and shoots out of the underground city streets. Normally a fall like that would hurt alot worse for Batman and he finds himself rather impressed with Sinestors's old ring. Flying up into the air he scours the sky looking for the green monster that flung his body into the sewers, but he sees something else. On the edge of the horizion Batman spots a green light and sees the shape of the bat.
John Stewart did not expect to see a green cloud approaching he was used to the glowing form of the ancient Green Lantern known as Klemkor. Either way he knows what hes dealing with. The green cloud stops not twenty feet before John and forms itself back togerther. "You are the Green Lantern known as John Stewart I am known as Klemkor and I need the energy in your lantern."
John Stewart's pupil's dilate as he is in shock he did not expect Klemkor to speak.
" You really dont expect me to just hand this over to you, do you "
Replied John Stewart as if daring Klemkor to a fight. " NO of course not I have all the memories of Kemkor and many more and I know how you pathetic heros think, but your friend is dead and your ring has no effect on me. Im stronger then you too if you dont hand over the lantern you will die John Stewart."
"Fine then come and take this if you think you can."
John Stewart holds up the lantern in the face of Klemkor. Raging in anger Klemkor rushes after the ring but catches a face full of sand as the Green Lantern uses his ring to create a dust cloud blinding Klemkor. As the infuriated monster uses its power to clear the sand it doesnt notice John Stewart hovering high in the sky with an enourmous green bubble filled with water.Just as the dust clears the bubble of water falls. Over forty tons of water comes crashing down on Klemkor who gets crushed into the sand then washed out to sea. John sees the beast glowing under the waving ovean. Two beams of energy shoot forth wrapping themselves around the ankles of The Green Lantern. John Stewart tries to sever the beams with his ring but soon finds himself smashing into the sand. The beams lift him up again into the sky over seventy feet. Then again he is travaling into the ground. he reaches behind his head points his ring and creates a shield absorbing most of the damage.
Klemkor Laughs as he walks out of the ocean extending the beams further into the sky and prepares to crash the Green Lantern into the rocks ending his exsistence. As John struggles tyring desperatly to sever the beams he feels himself being thrown to the ground below. Klemkor lowers the snares around John's ankles he doesnt notice two yellow batarangs spiraling through the night's sky and severing the ties to John's legs. Klemkor turns towards the sky to see Batman now known as the Yellow Lantern still alive and ready to go another round. Before Klemkor can even react he gets caught by a great burst of yellow light blasting him back into the ocean. Quicky rebounding Kelmkor flies into the air and begins to grow. His body nearly quadruples in size and in his hand he know holds a sheild and a doubled edged ax in the other hand twice the size of Batman.
Batman quicky evades the swings of the ax flying up down and side to side. Then Batman makes his own sheild focusing all his energy on making it as strong as possible. He lets Klemkor hit his shield and the weight of the ax pushes Batman from just above Klemkors head down past his chest. Quicky Batman Slides up under his arm and turns the shield into a sharp katana and the yellow blade cuts through the titan's body. Klemkor lets out a roar in agony as Batman reaches for his yellow lantern and throws it into the open cavity of Klemkor's chest, then he kicks off Klemkor's body and flies far out of the beings range. Batman sees the Yellow Lantern in Klemkor's chest and points his ring at it and braces his other hand around his wrist. A Bright thin yellow beam blasts through Klemkors chest and into the yellow lantern causing it to lose stability and explode.
The foce of the explosion sends Batman flying through the air. A green beam extends from the ring of John Stewart and catches Bruce Wayne then escorts him to the ground where John Stewart stands. "Bruce I think that got him looks like you didnt get a good look but the two energies eleminated each other."
John Stewart says proud of his ally. "Yeah that was the idea John ."
Bruce replies as he takes off the Yellow ring and hands it over to The Green Lantern. "The guardians might want this back John."
"Im sure they will I'll make sure it gets there."
John Stewart looks in amazement at Bruce Wayne as he promises to get the ring back to it's proper owners. "John I got a favor to ask."
Bruce Wayane says as he stares out over the ocean. "Sure anything."
"John I need a lift home I have a meeting tommrow."
"Sure but you might wanna think about wearing a red shirt."

Ok i hope you enjoyed that if not i would really like somefeed back what you liked what you didnt i know im not a good writer but im always trying to get better, and im not too sure of the continuity of the this story so please ignore those flaws im sure there are alot. im looking forward to doing another story with your critiques i hope i can make improve with it
