Ultimate Doom

So I read the first few pages of the Ultimate FF and Doom's backstory is there. Apparently he already got mutilated by Reed Richard's experiment.

Can someone tell me what happened in the previous issue? Is he wearing armor or is that part of his mutation, like the Thing's rocky hide?

I don't know if my question was that confusing but I just want to know if Doom is wearing armor is was mutated into his armored form.

Does anyone know? I'm not trying to find the actual comic about it. I figured if someone read it he could share that info here.

it appears as though he has a layer of skin above metal above organs. Doom as he is now wasn't given much screen time.

uhhh why does ult doom look like a chrome version of the green goblin.

Although i enjoy all of the ultimates series, when you change doom youre asking for my vengeance.

If you don't like change, you have no business reading Ultimate titles. They're almost nothing but major character changes. As others have said however, it's too early to give details. We'll all just have to wait and see.
