"Exiles" Questions --- Need Help (Thread May Contain Spoilers!)

(Wow. Did I pick an interesting day to come back to the 'Realms... I'm gone for a week and I return to some more good ol' crazy shenanegans here at HCR. (That said, I would like to personally apologize if I mispelled that word. I do indeed have a point, which is below, and I certainly don't want to anger any shenanegans out there for spelling their name wrong.) If anyone has any input on the following, though, I'd really appreciate it:)

I'm working on an Exiles Scenario. For lack of better wording - and because I didn't think about it till now - I'm going to call the Scenario "Ultimate Exiles" until I come up with something better, or until I get berated into submission to change the title by the folks who don't like it.
Anywho, I need some replacement figs for the Exiles and Weapon X-ers who aren't clix, yet. Yes, I know that this has been addressed before, but I am hoping for different input now that there are more figs to choose from. So please, let me know what you think of the list below, especially the stand-ins, and if you think any member should be substituted for somebody else. For those that are interested, I intend to post the full scenario and list later.
(Sorry if my bittersweet sarcasm genuinely offended anyone - I'm just getting tired of all the griping I've heard more and more of in the past few months here.)

i assume you mean Firestar for the last one right? what about Nova for her? Banner I would think Prof Hulk from CM would be better...I like Hyperion as KC Supes!

For Morph, why not Chameleon? I think he would be better. mimic, i don't think anyone has powers similiar....for Nocturne, you need a MC/SupSenses/RCE/Incap. Proudstar...maybe colossus? He takes a second to armor up as well???

Mimic- can only be Colossus= stats are high and wolverine claws can be easily added

deadpool=deathstroke--stats all about right

spider--possibly venom instead? stronger, more like the spider character, only not red

namora--nebula? Blue skin

Blink--Green Lantern le!! I know, it sounds nuts, but Phasing, good damage, plus GL team ability so you can move the entire team!!

Proudstar-- (a missed favorite)probably Rhino or Ulik--big heavy hitters?

I agree with Blink/GL. It's the only way I know to represent her transport powers.

Proudstar- To represent his war-mode, he needs something that gets stronger as he goes along. Maybe U Hellboy (who I think fits somewhat better than the Hulks), who starts out strong and gets really nasty down the dial.

Morph...............I'd agree with Martian Manhunter. Either him or Metallo. Superstrength isn't really perfect for him, but plasticity is, and gaining Outwit as a TA is good, too. Damage reducing powers suit him just fine as well)

Okay. So I picked up the second trade paperback, which was what I needed in order to finish reading the series in its entirety so far. Well, turns out that there is this extra member to the Weapon X team that I didn't previously know about. When Weapon X makes their first appearance, featuring Sabertooth and Deadpool, who is that guy with them? He looks like a version of one of the Marauders, ScalpHunter, I think was his name?
Who was this and what clix would represent him if he can be identified?

When they first appear the members are, Sabertooth, Deadpool, Spider, She-Hulk, and Vision. 2 other members now gone but mentioned (by She-Hulk I think) are "Kane" and "Matt Murdock"

i agree w/ the ulik for proudstar, though almost any heavy hitter/tank type would do.

i got a half-painted blink, which i'm going to use a Magick (magik) base for. considering she is in exiles already though, it doesn't make complete sense, but i figured it was a good way of representing her teleportation powers and abilities w/ those stick-a-majigs she wields.

plus, i had an extra R magick lying around w/ a real bad paintjob :rolleyes:

Hm, what about Raven for Blink? I don't recall her blinking folks during combat that much, but the PC could cover her blinking a portal just as someone was about to hit one of the Exiles with something and making it go away.

the R Jon Stewart loses Phasing too quickly for her, I tihnk. Raven has it for more clix, so Blink can at least get away....

I think that Nocturne would be represented best by E White Queen's dial. Mind Control, Psychic Blast (hex bolts) and Super Senses work very well for her. She doesn't actually do any 'porting... though she does jump into people to posess them... So I'd say that neither Nightcrawler nor Shadowcat would represent her well.

I think U Hellboy is good for John Proudstar.
I also agree with Deathstroke being used for Deadpool.
I would probably use R or E Abomination for Sasquach.

Morph and Mimic are tough fits... their varied powers just are not well represented on any one dial yet to properly create recreate them.

Ah, I should have thought if this earlier... Amazo to represent Mimic... we have everything but the Blades Claws... this, of course, would represent him after he absorbed Northstar's flight abilities (hss). What do you think?

Great thread! I love this book, and hope some day they actually make all these figs into clix.

Nah, Sam has a range of abilities, but not the right range. Barrier and Support and even Outwit don't really fit Mimic.

The Exiles are much harder to figure out than the various members of Weapon X. As an aside, I put together a Weapon X 400pt team that plays fairly well.

Total Team 394pts
To make it more competitive in play, the E Venom could be down graded to R Venom 55pts allowing 18pts for a medic.

For Garrison Kane it would have to be someone who is grounded with Invulnerabilty and Range and maybe B/C/F. I don't know... does Silver Samurai have range?
