As expected, the Gladiator Champion Maximus made a quick defeat of the young pirate heir, William Turner. Cant say Im too surprised there. Lets see if this battle will be alittle more even.

The Man With No Name. He's arguably the toughest hombre in this tourney for guts, and he's certainly the fastest and best shot. Six gun, or a stick of dynamite, it maters little. Liu Kang moves in slow motion in comparison to 'Blondie'

I dont know...Blondie will have problems in the forest I think. It favors the HtH fighter who can set traps. I am not sure Liu would be smart enough to set traps, since he is pretty straight forward...

Glad you liked it. Not sure if you watch Smallville or not, but the producers of the show got their inspiration from that comic.... If you don't watch it already, you should: it has the same feel.

Eh, I dont see the Jungle terrain helping Clint here any, and if I recall in the Mortal Kombat films, they occassionally did battle in very similiar terrain. Lui Kang is MKs BEST fighter, and the only one who could defeat Shang Zung, the Emperors best warrior.

As cool as Clint is, with all this terrain hurting his shooting, and Lui Kang being the Master of MK, Im voting for Kang.

if it favors a trap setter, then 'blondie' has it made, he uses set areas at least a few times in his movies. Such as a stick of TNT in the right place to be shot when Liu Kang comes sneaking by.

nah, Clint comes from the days when gun fighters could say "Dodge this!" from half a mile away.

Watch The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. With a Winchester he severs the rope he mock hangs Tucco with from what 300, 400 yards out, no scope.

I'd like to see even 'bullet time' Neo dodge that kind of marksmanship.

You'd have to be 'Lucky' Ned Pepper to not get hit where he's aiming.

I bet there wasnt a miles worth of thick jungle terrain between him and the rope though. In any open environment, Id give it to Clint, but as dense as it is here, Im betting Kang can make his way to clint, using the terrain to block any gunfire coming his way, and when Kang gets in Clints face, its ALL OVER. Remember, Clint doesnt have an Uzi, and those old western guns can only shoot so fast.

But fast enough to shoot someone as agile and quick as Liu Kang, with a miles worth of dense jungle foliage between them? And get a kill shot, since even slightly wounded Kang will be able to handle Clint up close.

I think the Man with No Name takes this one. The terrain does favor Liu Kang, but the Man with No Name is just too good and too fast of a shot, I think. I don't remember either of them being particularly stealthy so I think Liu Kang may not have that easy of a time sneaking up on MWNN. Liu Kang may be able to dodge to turn the first shot into a non-fatal one, but I think his act of dodging will have him off balance, which will set him up for the fast barrage, and more importantly, accurate salvo that MWNN will be sending out. If Liu were Neo-fast, that'd be different, but he's not.

I don't think the jungle helps either of them too much, hard to be real agile in really thick vines and foliage. So I will have to tip my hat to the Man with No Name.

actually who ever choose bond didn't say in the thread. I mentioned sticking with one of the actors so we could nail down what equipment he should have.

Connery is widely regarded as the toughest, suavest, and best Bond over all so i suggested him.
