Another lopsided battle, which is quite expected in the First Round of all such TOCs. Lets see if we cant do alittle better here.

Allow me to present your next battle in a BRAND NEW type of Tournament Of Champions:


SHREDDER (TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES)

As always, same rules apply, no time to prepare, POOFed from where ever they were, with only what they routinely carry on them, to fight in a Large area til one stands and one falls. YOU decide Who.

Badlands – Lots of sand, some rock formations, scrub brush, small boulders, etc.

Riddick, the badlands work great given what environments we've seen him in so far, plus if he holds out till night fall he'll have a massive advantage over the shredder.

The guy is one of THE BEST martial artists in his world, and he took on all 4 Ninja Turtles, one at a time, in combat almost easily. This along with the fact that hes got some really nice offense/defense in his armor, and if he knocks Riddicks glasses off hes much less effective, I definately see giving Oruko Saki the win here.

Riddick's armed with a knife, Shedder has a ton of blades on his armor (not that more blades are nessesarily better... but the fact he has armor doesn't hurt either).

And, he is a Ninja. He's physically imposing, but still agile and has ninja training in more than just fighting.

Heck, Riddick had trouble handling his captor/bounty hunter in physical combat, and Shredder took on all 4 TMNTs. With no weapons for Riddick to use, and Shredder being a veritable arsenal himself, I dont see much chance for Riddick to pull out a win here.

Just curious, but is this normal Shredder pre or post mutagen?

I think that this one will probably go to Shredder as well. The Chronicles of Riddick may change how good Riddick is, but I think going off of just Pitch Black, Shredder will take him, especially knowing Riddick's weakness to light. If it's during the day, I can see Shredder easily winning by breaking Riddick's goggles. If it's at night, Shredder won't be as screwed as a normal person as his ninja background will give him a lot of familiarity with the dark, although Riddick will still be better off.

riddick, mainly because i hate the shredder, and i realy realy hate the ninja turtles, they are so lame ,well, in those terrible movies at least, and since this is based on those bad movies shredder could beat all of the ninja turtles and splinter and he still would be lame, does any one remember how weak the fighting was in those movies?

Riddick is a tactiction with edge, and attitude, and some improve skills. He is not a shredder level fighter. Shredder beats him, and kills him before the torn remains of riddick falls to the ground

The Chronicles of Riddick make it out like Riddick is apparently some kind of force capable of halting assaults from planet destroying forces. He should be able to ho,d out until noghfall where he has a serious advantage, and he was shown to be cpable of fighting creatures similar to the aliens in Pitch Black. I think Riddick is really significantly more dangerous than Shredder (after all in the turtles in the movie were still significantly rookie, not like the rest of their mythos) but he is kind of hurt by the fact that he is currently in only one movie and it is a pseudo-horror movie instead of a total action one, so he doesn't really get a chance to show off how truly dangerous he is.

I don't think Shredder is capable of beating someone who can stop an alien assualt by himself.

Maybe its me, but I actually liked the FIRST TMNT movie. I thought the fights scenes were quite good, especially for 4 guys in big bulky rubber suits. And Shredders fight at the end with all 4 TMNT was very cool. Id say I like this at least as much as Pitch Black, which was cool but nothing special.

But please, and Ive seen it here more than any other fight thus far, DO NOT vote based on how much you like or hate the movie these characters are from. Lets try our best to really look at the characters themselves and NOT just vote against them because they are from a movie you HATED or LOVED, ok?

Is this movie out yet? Its not here in NZ, has it come out in the States yet? If not, nothing from this new movie can be used to support Riddick here, those are the rules.

Riddick. He fought giant monster aliens which would eat the Turtles for a snack. Since they are a mile apart, Riddick can wait till dark to start attacking-that is for sure.



Although since Riddick has 'seen' TMNT, he might be laughing so hard Shredder can get the drop on him.

Riddick wasn't entirely useless in the light and Shredder can't "wait out until daylight" anyway because Riddick will just go on the hunt.

It's not like Riddick hasn't fought huge bladed opponents in the past. He fought one of those Sliver-esque aliens in hand-to-hand and held up pretty darn good and I'd venture those things were at least as dangerous as movie Shredder - actually more so if it's movie Shredder in the contest. That's part of situation here: this isn't the original b&w comic Shredder - it's a kiddie movie Shredder who's more interested in posing and struting and humiliating opponents than he is out-and-out brutality and that gives Riddick the edge. Riddick is a cold-blooded killer while this version of Shredder has gotten used to sending out masses of Foot Soldiers. Yes, Shredder fought the four relatively inexperienced TMNT and did more than just fine - but he never went for any killing blows. Sorry DTM, but under the rules of the contest we have to take this into account.

I see Riddick popping off one of Shredder's blades and putting it through one of the Foot Master's unarmoured eyes.

He never went for any killing blows because he was playing with the TMNT. Riddick had trouble fighting his fairly average looking bounty hunter, Shredder would eat him alive. :)
