Yeah, I'll have to order it...................Will Shazam be on the order form too? I didn't get to order one. Does anyone know?

Meh, I'll probably order him, but only to have. I can't see myself ever using him. Great, now I can do 6 damage at 10 range...all I have to do is roll a 9 to hit an average DV!

I hope Shazam! is on this form, since I never got the chance to pick him up.

Hm. They shoulda put Xorn's head on the old IC Magneto body. That'd be pretty sweet.

Very cool, a fig specific to a single issue? Very cool.

Shazam! is not on the order form. Just an additional line for the X-Men hardcover they did a few months ago. Sorry to have to break the bad news. :(

Hmm...Kinda weak isn't he, especially for a drug addict. I would think he would be able to Hulk up a little more, maybe gain some impervious now that Marvel is giving that power to everyone in this set. Whats the point of having 6 damage at range when its going to be harder to connect the damage.

No other Heroclix figure is on the Wizard order form. This might be different for Inquest.

He flies. He's a medic. He get's free move. He will be loved by Invisible Girls and Con Artists everywhere...

Of course I want one...

LoL

Is his actual dial on there somewhere? If it is I can't find it, but based on the little description he sounds like a monster.

His dial is on the WizKids site (or, it was when I checked it last a few days ago).

By the time he's doing 4 Damage, his Attack has dropped to a 6 (if I remember correctly). His powers make his dial look good, but his numbers are going to have trouble backing it up, I think.

I kind of think of him as being a chicken with his head cut off. The first click is when he's in battle. The second click and beyond are once Wolverine's taken his head off and his body is still flailing around. Because, from what I can tell, that's pretty much what the stats represent.

But, what do you expect? I mean, how well are you going to keep fighting once Wolverine's gone and lopped off your noggin'?

In fact, I think when I get a couple of him, I'm going to Exacto off his head myself so that I can have a true 'Magneto as Xorn' figure.

If that dial was right, and from the description, I think the idea is that the drug Kick enhances his powers, but dulls his effectiveness, hence the dropping AV but spiking damage.

hmm, I was gonna get a Wizard today but I forgot my local game store doesn't carry it. Guess I'll wait for the Inquest :-)

Would be nice if they had a Shazam offer - can use more of those in my area - but which magazine was Shazam in? If it was Scrye, Inquest won't get it..

you can order up to 3 figs ?

are they affraid he won't sell or something ?!

Spock

Hey, considering that they charge $10 each online (plus the cost of the magazine) I'd be worried he won't sell also :-)

For a total of 14.99 just to get your hands on one figure, I'd say that was a rip off.

So now I will declare it, publicly and for all to read -- I'll never buy LEs from mags again.

Phew. That was hard. But made much easier due to Wizard's stupid gouge scheme.

Actually, it's about $20 for a Wizard Magazine #153 (out today 5/26) and three (3) Xorn LE's.

The online offer automatically includes UPS shipping at $5 a figure. With the coupon, you have to choose to pay $5 extra per figure for UPS shipping. Otherwise, the coupon offer includes the cost of regular USPS mail in the $5 per figure.

Buying a copy of Wizard and sending in the coupon by snail mail gets the clix to you almost as quickly as the UPS option.

And then you also have a brightly-colored, bathroom-humored price guide to flip through on the john.

yea well im too poor to afford the magazine and since its so easy to order it online, I did. :p you're all just mad because you're not getting one ;)

in all fairness, i did think 15 bucks was too much, i mean wasnt shazaam only 5?(total of 10 with shipping included) But i still rather spend 15 on a magneto LE then on two boosterpacks that will probably just be terrible anyway. And besides, i dont have any LE's yet so why not make my first one, one of my favorite clix?

This is one that I'm disappointed in WK with. This is the second set they've done where the mail away fig is for a different version of a unique. I liked the days of an Uber-cool version of an R/E/V figure like Bezerker Wolvie and OWAW Superman.

Well, in some ways it takes the pressure off obtaining the unique, so I don't think it quite so bad.

Actually the Magento-Xorn Kick-Addict was in the mainstream X-Men comics ("New X-Men" I think), not the Ultimate X-Men line.

That's the 'normal' Xorn - I hope the LE version will have slightly different stats on a more offensive level...
