I haven't posted a mod in a while... here's Magneto:

Here's the custom dial I made for him-- I call this the "Master of Magnetism" version.

That is the coolest modified figure i have ever seen. The dial is too strong though. I dont see why he has outwit. Besides that, good.

Heh, that's my "[X character] wasn't made strong enough!" dial. I've made dials like that for a few characters (Juggernaut, Doomsday, etc) when I feel like fighting something reeeeeally tough. :)
And thanks for the comments, everyone!

Awesome, superb pose, really suits the look of Mags controlling the level hail of metal he's about to throw at some unfortunate x-man:)

He looks amazing, and far better than we can ever expect a WK model to look, though I guess that's obvious...
I think he's overpowered but you already explained that so I guess it's okay.

Wow. That is an absolutely fantastic mod... easily the best I've ever seen in terms of capturing the character in action.
PS - ignore the naysayers on his dial - Magneto is only one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe, I hardly think 175pts is really all that over the top.

Epoxy putty is a modder's best friend. It comes in two varieties-- "Green Stuff" and "White Stuff". It comes as two strips of different-coloured substances which you mash together to make putty. It is very sculptable, and hardens into a plastic-like solidity after 10 hours.
"Green Stuff" is softer and easier to work. It comes as blue and yellow strips. You can get it at your local Games Workshop store, as well as some online distributors, who often sell it in three-foot lengths (that's what I buy):

"White Stuff" is tougher and harder to work, but ends up being more solid, and so is better for "structural" sections that will have to hold more weight. It comes as blue and white strips. I know of only one company that current makes White Stuff: Lepage. They're a company that makes adhesives of various sorts (you've probably seen them at your local hardware store, all their stuff has green and yellow packaging).
Overall, I prefer Green Stuff, as it's a lot easier to work with. However, it's a good deal more expensive-- here in Canada, two strips of Games Workshop Green Stuff cost (I believe) $12, whereas two strips of Lepage White Stuff cost $8. My Magneto has about $20 worth of putty in him.
Now you know, and knowing is half the battle. :)
For the putty, I have heard of people people using Plumbers Putty or Muffler Putty. These can be found at hardware stores and is much cheaper per volume, but is a little more grittier.
DANG Spud that is amazing work!

Excelletn Job! I'll agree that it's one of the best customs that has ever graced my sight.
As for others saying that he's over powered..are you kidding? Magneto is considered to be the most powerful mutant, if not one of the most powerful beings in all of Marvel.

The problem with these putties (and I use them) is that it hardens in five to ten minutes, so ya gotta work fast. Five minutes is a long time if you focus, know what you're doing (I only sometimes do), and work in small amounts. This last one's tricky cause you have to mix the right amounts of the two putty parts and that seems easier when you mix bigger amounts...
At any rate, I like the stuff :):) :)

The Magneto himself is just as great as everyone says, but I guess I'm alone in not liking the junk around him. It would seem to make playing with the figure annoying and would hide the *amazing* detail on Magneto himself.

wow where can we see some other mods youve done?
