i find them true indy clix was a great set (my only complaint was it got split up to two 96 piece set's vs one big 120 piece set.... );) ;)
I'm the third post, that's probably the only interesting thing about this thread.

Nope, nobody cares about that either. :cheeky:
All jokes aside, I loved Indy! Still do. Give me more!
If Creepy Freaks wins does that mean they'll actually release another set? :cheeky:
Creepy Freaks actually might get an award!?!?
uhhh. I don't think I saw a pack sell at my comic store..
indy? indy. indy................... INDY!?!?!

I think Wizkids would be better served if they put out smaller creator-specific Indy sets. Like 10 characters (all uniques) with a map. If you put out a set of 10 pieces for Mage, Grendel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or most other Indy books, I'd buy them. I'd bet a whole bunch of other people would too! I'm looking for something along the lines of the Mage Knight Seige packs or the Dungeon packs. I'm sure they'd make more money putting out a new 100 piece set but at least they wouldn't have to worry about their current licencing issues. They could easily get away with selling these packs for 25-30 bucks.

Indyclix will get my vote! The highest quality sculpts Wizkids has ever done for their best game deserves an award.
Not to hijack the thread, but a megacity 1 map with (or without) some futurisitc looking objects (maybe even a judge's bike) and some more 2000AD characters would be purchased without hesitation by yours truly.

You know, I disliked Indy quite a bit when it first came out, but the more I've been using figures from this set on my teams, the more I've realized that it was actually a really good set....even if I didn't recognize many of the characters.
I look forward to another set now.

The move to Open tourneys has no doubt helped a lot of people's feelings on these figures. I've been hearing this a lot since smaller pieces here and there have been able to find their way onto teams. :)

No doubt. I just played some of my EuroIndy figs in a tourney and really liked them. My opponent was only playing Savage Hulk and Farting Hulk as his 300 pt. team, so I obviously targeted figs titled "Hulk".:)

I tried voting and it told me that I wrote in Classic Battletech, voted for Creepy Freaks and a bunch of other stuff that I didn't do either. My actual votes were buried in that junk but the process inspires about as much confidence as a Florida election. :noid:

Indy's a great set. I put at least one indy fig on every open tourney team. The sculpts are really nice, the pieces are fun to play with, and they got me interested in reading some of the indy comics. ^_^

not to hijack the thread, but I also was nominated for an origins award. Its not in the public voting section so you can't vote for it but I am running against a WIzkids product that the initial post forgot to mention.
Here's the catagory.
Best Miniatures Accessory or Terrain
Aurora-Class Drop Ship, from WizKids, LLC
Delux Skirmishpack, from Charon Productions (ME!)
Euro Village Series II Corner Inn, from Miniatures Building Authority
Gael Longhouse, from I-Kore
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King_Ruins of Middle Earth, from Games Workshop

Did the Politburo do the nominations?
a question for any wk reps who might be reading....
if we stuff the ballot box, and indyclix pulls out a victory..... will we get another indy set?
because if thats the case, i'll get you as many votes as i can.
i'm willing to do the footwork if you guys are willing to put out an indy exansion.

I'm assuming that you mean with the 2000AD team ability??? Just so you know, you couldn't target both of them, you would only be able to target one of them.
Anyway, after reading it I thought I would have to defend Indy again but it seems like quite a few of you have come around to the magic of Indy. IMO its the best set to come out so far and yes that includes all of the Marvel sets.

The Origin awards usually have some freaky nominations on it. However, Indyclix is going to get blasted by A Game of Thrones since it's one of the best wargames in a long time (I think the only serious complaint about it I've read is that some people don't like the event cards in the game, but since a lot of other people love them...).
Keep in mind the "gamer's choice" nominations are not the real Origin awards. The nominations for that are listed here (http://www.originsawards.com/nominees.html).
I do like Critical Mass better than any of those other game expansions...
Hulkgray, you're on an ISP that hands out IP addresses to people every time they connect so your IP could have been used by someone to vote, then when you connected you received that IP.
Best Electronic Gaming Product: you skipped this category
...
Best Electronic Gaming Product: you selected Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Master's Guide by Upper Deck
...
Best Historical Gaming Product: you wrote in "D-Day"
anyone else get about 100 lines of #### like this?
Indy Heroclix, I have no problem with...I mean, Exp Nemesis and Vet Johnny Alpha just assisted me into the top ten placings at the UK Nationals, so how could I ?
BUT CREEPY FREAKS ??? WHAT ??? WHY ???
I mean, a sadder waste of plastic it is hard, nay impossible, to imagine.
What are they thinking ?
LoL
All the Best

I'll buy and Indy expansion when they WizKids and McFarlane can come to an agreement on a spawn clix. I mean come on let him have what he wants and sell the clix by itself.
What I find interesting about this thread is that when you quote Gacy's Clown, it says "originally posted by Pogo. What's up with that?

I actually tend to play more Creepy Freaks games than I get in Clix games.
Of course I have two children (6 & 9) who love the game and want to play every day. ;)
Personally I've found that everyone in the general target audience I've introduced the game to has loved it and picked it up easily. I'd actually like to see an expansion for the game.

i think that was the problem with CF.
people liek the game once they play but are reluctant to start, especially MK & HC players who snub it.
