My curreent Modern Age team has bit it hard (Valkyrie SR, Throg, 2X Generic Valkyries, Lila Cheney). I'm left to lick my wounds and figure something new, and I came up with this:

All right, when I first started playing clix. I started off with making smallball 200 point teams, and it took quite some time to be able to get myself to building 300 pt teams.

Now that new sets and new rules are out, I must reconfigure my 200 pt team. I'm primarilly having it as unrestricted, because I never see constructed 200 pt events.

So far I'm looking at Spiral, Bat Sentry, Lockjaw, and Rookie Mandroid Armor.

Just for the hell of it I've been trying to work around with several variations for the Bark Park, and for some reason, The Bat Sentry came to mind. And good god, that thing is UNDREASONABLY hard to place on the team, much less, ANY TEAM.

For 67 points, you're basically PAYING for the KC TA, which works best with Wildcards since he's the cheapest KC fig. The only problem is, he's basically an empty husk with the KC TA. Then the next cheapest is Red Robin at 90 points. An empty...

Oh man, less than one wee has passed and the team that I boasted about creativity doesn't sound like it'll be competitive in the least bit.

I mean, 5 Veteran Lockjaws, in theory, SOUNDS like a good swarm team. I ended up checking out his stats again just for good measure, and realized that he IS a solid clix; but his shortcomings are his consistant drop in stats and low attack.

With Wizard World Dallas still in my sights, making a competitive team has suddently tanked for me. I've built my team to the point to where I don't believe I can improve it any further. My spirits have dropped in trying to make the perfect underdog team, the fun of building something competitive has taken it's toll on me.
