July Events

Joining the League is $2 every time you go. Here's the deal. Play up to three games(time permitting, but it's always at least two games). A Win gets you 10 pts, a Loss gets you 5 pts. We keep track of the points you get every time you come. When you get 300 pts you can turn them in for $32 worth of Heroclix merchandise as store credit. Also, in addition to this for every WK sanctioned event we always give out LEs. And here's another kicker. If at least four players want to participate for additional prize support, they can of an additional $5 each, get 3 boosters to draft from (determined by victory points from that days gaming)between the four of them. The more players that put in for the pot, the more boosters. Here's a breakdown:
4 players put in the pot: 3 boosters.
5 players, 4 boosters.
6 players, 5 boosters.
You get the picture.
In addition every event welcomes new players. If you are a new player or haven't been by in a while, we have a special heroclix gift for you.

This week in the League: We will be having a Standard official 300pt constructed tournament format.Bring two BFCs and one "dummy' card. Remember: No retired figs. Dupes are of course allowed for this.

HeroClix Unrestricted Event I: Justice-For-All!
Your themed team must consist of the following build totals: 1 of 200 - 249 1 of 150 – 199 2 of 100 – 149 2 of 50 – 99 2 of 01 – 49 Feat Cards: 2 per fig,. These FCs may not be combined on the same fig: Fortitude, Repulsor Shield, Nanobots, Protected, ICWO, Lazarus Pit. BFC: Random. Build total: N/A Actions: 3 (+1 through Leadership) It is the judges discretion to approve your team.
Prizes for this event will consist of a previously issued, randomly selected Limited Edition (LE) HeroClix Prize kit.

League Play: Super Genius Island
300 points. It's a big island, so any universe (marvel, indy or Dc). Only characters with both perplex and outwit on their dial may be played. Brilliant Tactician is a free feat. The team ability pre req does not need to be met, and perplex may be used on all characters on your team regardless of team ability.
Special Character rule
T.O. Morrow gets the brilliant tactician feat for free and it works on all clicks of his dial as though he has perplex.

Bring Your biggest Baddest figures in an all out brawl to save the Universe (or Destroy it). Collossal figs are encouraged. Point Build: 2000 -Special: No fig may be under 200 points for this event. The Coming of Galactus: Week 1
This is it, the event we've been talking about all year. Come and enjoy the fun and action of Marvel HeroClix: Avengers with this special Sealed tournament event.
This event requires a purchase of two(2) sealed booster packs of Marvel HeroClix: Avengers. Following the conclusion of this event, each registered participant will receive a special Silver Surfer game piece, created for this event. This Herald of Galactus can be used in subsequent Weeks of the Coming of Galactus World HeroClix event.

The champion of this event will receive an additional prize, a "bye" for the first round of the Week 5, Coming of Galactus Championship event (to be held worldwide on August 11th, 2007), where players will compete to win a Galactus 2007 colossal figure.
And don't forget, All participants will recieve double the league points to be added on to your total for additional store credit! Hope to see you for this great event!

League Play: The Black Adam Family
400 points DC only. Black Adam bestows the Shazam power on his wife and his wife's brother, but Amanda Waller doesn't like that idea much. Build a Black Adam team, or a Suicide Squad team.
Black Adam family team Any version of Black Adam must be used as well as a woman and another man. The woman and man have hypersonic speed, super strength and flight as long as black Adam isn't K.O.'d (ONLY 3 FIGS ALLOWED ON THIS TEAM).
Suicide Squad All characters on this team gain the Suicide Squad team ability. This team ability replaces any other team ability on their dial.
When a Black Adam team fights a Suicide Squad team, double points are scored. The person with the highest score at the end of three rounds wins, regardless of wins and losses.

League Play: Free-for-all.
Free-for-all.
The build rule for it is that your force must be made up of four pieces, with each of their points must be between 50 and 100 (not including feat card). Each character can have at most one feat card attached. It will be one hour long, and winner will be determined by points KOed. Depending on the number of players we will pair up on two maps.
After, if there's time, we will have a Battle Royale (visit the WK website for details on rules.)
