Day 4 - Japan Gynastics

“And welcome back sports fans to the non-stop thrills of the Laff-A-Lympics here in the shadows of Mt. Fuji in Japan. We go live to the on the scene commentatorsl Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf.”

Both Snagglepuss and Mildew Wolf are wearing hazmat suits.

“Too soon?” Mildew Wolf looks at Snagglepuss.

“Never too soon for our health, beating cancer even!” Snagglepuss looks at the camera, “Our first event today is the gynastics event where each team will send three players to compete in three separate floor events - the balance beam, the rings, and the floor routine.”

“Maybe it’s all this radiation but I don’t have a good feeling about the gracefullness of any of these players,” Mildew Wolf turns green.

“That was too soon, past the line even!” Snagglepuss walks over to the Rottens, “And for the Rottens we have Dread Baron, the Magic Rabbit, and Mrs. Creeply, along side their team captain, Mumbly. Mumbly - what is your strategy for tackling the gynastics, besides cheating.”

Mumbly snickers and walks away.

“Can’t get that one to shut up,” Mildew Wolf walks over to the Scooby Doobies, “And here we have the lovely ladies of the Teen Angels - Dee Dee, Taffy, and Brenda alongside Captain Caveman. Captain, what are you doing to make sure you win this event?”

“Unga bunga, tight skirts.” Captain Caveman points at the outfits of the Teen Angels.

“A good strategy Cavey,” Snagglepuss walks over to the Yogis where Pixie, Dixie, and Yakky Doodle are warming up, “Aren’t you all a little small to be participating in this event? How are you even going to reach the rings Yakky?”

“Flight,” Yakky warbles and flaps his wings really hard as he levitates off the ground.

“Looks like the Yogis need all the help they can get...” Mildew Wolf walks over to the stands, “And here goes the Rottens, with the Magic Rabbit on the floor routine.”

“Yes folks, the Magic Rabbit is executing a perfect routine, bouncing from each corner, and performing every tumble - the judges give it a 9!”

“For the Yogis, Pixie is trying his best but can’t seem to get to each corner...the Yogis did not plan well for putting Pixie in this event! The Yogis receive a 3”

“For the Scoobies, Taffy twirls at each corner - a perfect 10!”

“Next we have the rings where Dee Dee performs the never seen before duadexical spin - amazing! A new Laff-A-Lypics record - and a 10 from the judges!”

“Next is Mrs. Creeply who jumps up and swings back and forth - what is she doing? Amazing, she is slipping between the rings and going round and round - amazing! The judges give them a 7.”

“A seven?” Dread Baron looks at Mumbly, “Be ready to make sure we win this!”

Mumbly snickers.

“Yakky reaches the rings but is too tired to do anything - another 3 from the judges.”

The final event, the balance beam. First up is Brenda for the Scooby Doobies.”

Mumbly creeps over and brings up a jar labeled “Rotten Mutant Termites” and shakes them on the beam.

“Brenda does a tumble over the beam but what’s this - where is the beam?”

“BUGS!” Brenda somersaults off the beam.

“Unfortunately, the Scoobies fell off the beam and score a 5. Next up is Dixie, who reaches the beam and just runs across it a couple of times.”

“I’m so small I can jump over the bugs!” Dixie says in a drawl while he dodges the bugs and reaches each side of the chewed up beam.

“He remained on the beam and received a 7. Last up is Dread Baron. Amazing, he is tumbling and staying on the beam...but the beam is all chewed up! But judges give the Baron a perfect 10 as he lands his final cartwheel!”

CRACK!

The beam cracks in two and Dread Baron falls to the ground.

“The Rottens got their score but at what price? The Dread Baron is being carried off in a stretcher but it doesn’t matter, with a score of 26 they get first place, with the scoobies with a score of 25 get second and the Yogis with a score of 13 get third.”

“You stupid dog,” Dread Baron shook his fast as the medics carried him off on a stretcher, “You were supposed to injure them, not me!”

Mumbly snickers and shrugs.

“And we move on to our second event of Japan, the Sumo Wrestling event!”

Eragonfan is out of the game. He was Dread Baron, the World War I uniformed second in command of the Rottens. He was a Really Rotten.
